Especially Witcher Gear sets both give bonuses to the gameplay and visually reflect Geralt's development. This detail strengthens the sense of role-playing.

Making a game world feel like a living ecosystem is not an easy task. However, Witcher 3 achieves this. The daily routines of NPCs and their reactions to war and natural events add vibrancy to the city and villages. People who run home when it's raining in a village, people who make fun of you when you do heroic deeds, or people who belittle your achievements... These details make the game's world ‘alive’.

The graphics are optimised with CD Projekt Red's REDengine 3 engine. Especially the lighting and weather effects add to the atmosphere of the game.
