I'll never understand people who buy turn based strategy games then proceed to complain that they didn't win the first time. It's all about planning and strategy. But, maybe it's because I'm part of a generation that actually played Final Fantasy Tactics so I'm used to it.

I'll even copy an excerpt from one of my favorite articles about FFT:
This is a big wake-up call that the game isn't going to play fair, and there isn't any good way to end the fight quickly.

This isn't call of duty. You can't just point your mouse and click, and call in tactical nukes. You have to us your brain here. Strategy games aren't for everyone. Roguelites aren't for everyone. But this game is the first roguelite in a LONG time that has fufilled that "itch". It has the level of replayability akin to FTL (After you've unlocked all the ship variants) or Slay the Spire (after unlocking all cards/relics).

If you are ok with most likely not winning on your first play through then give this game a shot because you'll get addicted quickly. (Hint: Don't use easy mode, the game was designed with a set difficulty and enabling any of the shortcut options in easy mode really does detract from the experience.)
