I just wish their humanoid was kept, as I really liked the thing about them being digitgrade humanoid mice.

My idea is to reuse the mod for this species, change the name, the Lore, the ship and the items, but keep their appearance, since apparently it was the only thing that didn't offend anyone.
Besides, they're cute when they're not dressed like Nazis.

The Mauskin were a mod race created by Skittles some time ago.
If I'm not mistaken, they were a kind of giant sentient mice created by the Protectorate to act as a secret police, doing the dirty work that the Protectors couldn't be seen doing.
The problem is that because the items of the species, including clothes, armor and even the ship, were reminiscent of Nazism, many were offended.

looking into it, it seems much of what I once remembered had disappeared, so wherever the Mauskin's original design or mod was, it's no more.

I think the reason for the Mauskin's removal was because of it's original version, which was... pretty blatantly 1940s Nazi-germany if memory serves correct but I think it was a mod and not a race created by the devs
