Early Access Review
just as fun as the previous game with beautiful graphics too. although it has some performance issues it hasn't really been all that bad for me personally, averaging 50-60fps on ultra settings with a Ryzen 5800H + RTX 3060 laptop.

my issue with the performance is that no matter how much i lower my settings the fps doesnt really go up, if at all. might even go down a little.

my girlfriend runs the game pretty well at 60fps on medium settings with an i3-9100f + GTX 1650.

the map is roughly 4x bigger than The Forest but so far feels a little empty, lots of caves but most of them need story items to progress further into (keycards etc) but seeing as though its still early access i don't mind all that much.

the new crafting screen is nice but feels like it holds you back with the new animations taking longer. the new building system is in my opinion really well done and a much bigger improvement over the first game. definitely needs some fine tuning but i think they made the right choice.

(you should be able to walk while holding your backpack out, it would be a good change considering the dropping of the 1-4 hotkey feature, unless i somehow just missed that somewhere.)

very fun with friends and definitely scary for new players, it didn't feel as scary as i thought it would be but maybe that's just because i played the forest recently. would definitely recommend for the price seeing as its bound to get a lot of new content. 9/10 sequel
