Yeah, it's definitely a cheaper camera, for sure :-) I've been using it for about 7 years now, and it's not died on me yet, so I don't see a reason to drop cash on a new one!

While many believe the contrary, I think that the quality of photography is 50-75% technique, lighting and focus rather than camera quality, although I could be wrong.... Lol

Prices for that PowerShot aren't very expensive. I assumed you had one of those really expensive cameras, b/c the quality of the photos are pretty good. I'm not very knowledgeable about cameras, but I've seen some "professional" ones go from $500 and up....yikes.

I actually use a Canon PowerShot A4000 (point-and-shoot camera); it's old and not exactly the DSLR that I'm looking for, but it still works, so it's good to use for now! And I use a website called Pixlr for contrast, focal and brightness adjustments, since my camera is a bit wonky in those areas.

Your deviant-art photos are really good; I especially liked those of the sky. I've tried taking photos like that, but they never come out good. What camera or phone do you use? Do you do any photo editing to them? Sorry for spamming your wall. :/

And I personally don't mind 80s music, but like I said, it's more of the type of music I'd listen to if it popped on the radio, rather than something I'd put into a playlist :-) I honestly prefer older music from around the 60s-70s, like ELO, The Zombies, The Doobie Brothers, e.t.c.. I thought the Beach Boys were a bit to fruity at first too. But when you read into Brian Wilson's life and his struggle with schizophrenia and his rather harsh childhood, the music will really speak to you. All three brothers are all super talented artists. Also check out Dennis Wilson's Forever
