A lot of other games need to take notice of Elden Ring. Challenging mechanics, amazing/fleshed out world, very little in the way of hand-holding, non-linearity, no micro-transactions, endless customisation. It perfectly encapsulates why I won't buy Assassin's Creed or Far Cry games any more.

From Soft has a little ways to go with some small performance issues here and there, and the reliability of their multiplayer but overall I'd have to give it a 10/10.
