I heard for years how great this game was, but it's just mid. It came out over a decade ago, and it shows in the combat, menus, graphics, glitches, dialogue, story, and everything else. The combat is the worst. I have neither the time nor the interest to mod this into being a good game.

The core gameplay loop is just boring, and what you are actually doing is distasteful. Apparently, they've added a subscription to a game that is over 10 years old as well. Not worth your time.

It's just. So. Boring. The combat is so simple a baby could do it. Every quest is a fetch quest. There is no reason to waste hours of your life on this when good games do exist.

The gameplay ranges from just okay to somewhat frustrating, but my biggest issue is the story. It's boring, confusing, and it is totally inconsistent with the Half-Life series. The Combine are so overwhelmingly powerful that they would not need to have a cringe, nominally bad-ass cool guy named Walker to do their dirty work. The quips and dialogue are so tonally inconsistent that it destroys enjoyment of the game. It's just not worth the time it takes to beat.

I came back for nostalgia, and it's fine, but not really worth spending your time or money on.

Obviously not quite as good as the originals, but it's pretty fun and it's free, so there's no reason not to try it.

Pretty disappointing. The movement is noticeably worse than STRIDE, it's never clear where you're supposed to go or what you're supposed to do, the story and voice acting are abysmal, and overall the game just feels janky and unfinished.

It's an old VR game, and you can tell. I'm sure it was fun at the time, but newer VR games have come out that are much better and a much better use of your time.

It's just Far Cry, the same as all the others. If you want more Far Cry, you'll like it, and if you don't, you won't.
