However, the launcher that Zenimax has provided is the most cancerous product ever bundled into the Steam platform, and that's saying a lot considering what kind of absolute AIDS is sold here. Do you have a 250gb SSD and want your 80gb MMO on it for faster zone load times? Too bad! The launcher needs 2x 80gb because it won't detect the Steam download. Have a power fail or wifi hiccup during a patch? Too bad! The launcher now invalidates your entire 80gb install. For some reason does a game patch fail to install correctly? Too bad! Now the launcher will spend a couple hours verifying the install, likely resulting in one of the previous two issues.

Yes, there are loads of "workarounds" provided which turn "tech" "support" topics into "solved" by Zenimax's "helpful" "gurus," but good luck with those unless you have hours and hours and hours of patience, since the cancer-launcher takes forever to go through 80gb of uncompressed ass-files to figure itself out every single time. The fact this is a multi-hundred-million-dollar MMO and not an f2p Asian loli sim blows my mind, because this level of total incompetence is legendary.
