"There's so many stories where some brave hero decides to give their life to save the day, and because of their sacrifice, the good guys win, the survivors all cheer, and everybody lives happily ever after. But the hero never gets to see that ending. They'll never know if their sacrifice actually made a difference. They'll never know if the day was really saved. In the end, they just have to have faith. Ain't that a ♥♥♥♥♥."

Sure, Russia and China have huge military reserves. The U.S., U.K. and Israel have their super-high-tech toys. But something about German military hardware: Guns, tanks, aircraft, etc... You can almost feel the "German Pride" radiating from everything they make.... At least, that's what i feel when I see anything German-made... After all, I have mostly German blood coursing through my veins. And it's not just the things they make, but how they use them. After all, it was the German Wehrmacht seen pioneering the new age of warfare (blitzkrieg, modernized tanks, assault weapons: Stg 44, and aircraft) as well as their success with the U-boats. Speaking of Wehrmacht, it annoys me greatly when people say that Wehrmacht = SS...

Anyways, I seem to have rambled far enough...

Katanas deserve much better than that. Much, much better than that. I should know what I'm talking about. I myself commissioned a genuine katana in Japan for 2,400,000 Yen (that's about $20,000) and have been practicing with it for almost 2 years now. I can even cut slabs of solid steel with my katana.
Katanas are thrice as sharp as European swords and thrice as hard for that matter too. Anything a longsword can cut through, a katana can cut through better. I'm pretty sure a katana could easily bisect a knight wearing full plate with a simple vertical slash.
Ever wonder why medieval Europe never bothered conquering Japan? That's right, they were too scared to fight the disciplined Samurai and their katanas of destruction. Even in World War II, American soldiers targeted the men with the katanas first because their killing power was feared and respected.
