Computers became a thing for me in the late 70s. Gaming became a thing in 1984. With "Elite" by Braben and Bell. "Elite Dangerous" is full circle for me.

No game, no technology, can capture the feeling, the explosion of imagination I experienced with that first game played on an apple //c from a 5.25" floppy disk.

All 202 games I have on Steam and the hundreds of games I had before Steam existed have been at one point or another an attempt to feel that same thrill from a game.. and it just doesnt happen.
