The game to end all games. This is the game of a lifetime. It is easy to learn but by no means easy to master. Difficulty and challenging like no other game ever made, even Souls 1 and 2 are just no where near as good as Dark Souls 3. As difficult as it can be, it is a perfect balance of challenging difficulty that makes you want to continue forward not run away because it is tedious in any way. It is fun to play and learn the game despite the fact you will likely be dying continuously. Each time you die, you take a step deeper and deeper into the game and accomplish something new step by grueling step which makes it immensely satisfying when you accomplish each step and ultimately a core goal or point in the story. Every skill point, weapon, choice, is balanced. It is almost perfect. My only complaint is that there are not more Souls games that keep coming out just like this one or that I cannot continue to play the game forever or I would.

After you beat the game, you can continue playing it with a lot of replay value as well. Unlocking more things and different endings. You get to keep all your stuff, you don't start from scratch. The main point of replaying the game over and over again though is that each time you beat the game, the difficulty goes up via the NPC HP and Damage being increased. Which just makes it a fun even more challenging passion filled joy to continue playing over and over again. However, that said, there is a point where the replay value ends unfortunately. After the 7th time you beat the game, the game stops adding difficulty via gains to the enemies hp and damage. At that point there are things to do, but it is mostly limited to unlocking anything you haven't accomplished such as making your character proficient in all the types of character mastery's via leveling and maxing your skills to become a warrior, cleric, pyromancer, etc all in one character. Eventually you run out of new content and replay value. But it was a hell of a ride after it all ends.

Although, some great news, alternately of course you could also add replay value to the game by starting from scratch. If your first play through was a male warrior type that focused on Strength, your next character could be a female pyromancer or any one of several character types. Your entire play style would have to change due to your characters new enhancements and/or new limitations. You would have to relearn what your boundaries are and how to defeat the same enemies, pass the same obstacles, accomplish similar goals you have faced before but in an entirely different way or order. There is even a bare bones option where your skills are all around good but you start with essentially nothing. This option is great for maximum character customization, difficulty, finely tuning your character to the max, and of course fun. Using your limited skill points and choosing what your characters strengths will be plays a big part in how you actually play the game from the first enemy to the last, everything including being able to equip and use certain weapons.

Whether you restart new games with the same character or explore new character builds as entirely new playthroughs, there is a ton of fun, challenge, entertainment, replay value, etc in Dark Souls 3.

*edit* I forgot to mention. The game has infamously great and challenging boss fights which are definitely a big highlight of the game. The DLC's are all great as well, they add more of the same fine tuned balanced quality content to the game. The combat system is just to die for, it is just superb and fun. The graphics and level of detail are wonderful. Every detail in the game including the sounds, voices, and music is of excellent quality. The atmosphere makes you feel completely immersed in the world. The game engine runs smoothly. You can play Co-op with a limited number of people. As well as PvP with other real players in the world which is optional and can be turned off, which I myself preferred off while playing the main game but then turned back on to have a little fun after I had finished at least 1 play through. The controls are completely customizable and are excellent for both keyboard or controller users equally. *end edit*

This is my second favorite game of all time and a truly unique experience ever gamer needs to try themselves!

Highly Recommend!!!
