I've always been a fan of the Harvest Moon series. I was hoping to find a game with similar mechanics yet with a subtle upgrade. Stardew Valley certainly doesn't disappoint. Every NPC has some character development through out the gameplay with a strong backstory. And it has many career paths that suits your interest making the game very flexible. Its reasonably priced for the hundreds of hours you would spend playing this amd has tons of replay value.
