The mechanics are decently fun, but it quickly devolves into boring side quests. It's hard to have a moral quandary when you don't care about the characters.

It's a pity you didn't feel anything about characters - Carl's little daughter's being ill or poor Schimmers...

Maybe you'll find some time to give Beholder another run.
