UPDATE: most technical issues have been addressed. However, CS2 has a GIGANTIC cheating problem, worse than CSGO ever had. Estimates put it at double digits of the playerbase. Meaning that, statistically, every game will have someone cheating. Even if it doesn't, the rampant cheating makes you paranoid. Just not fun.

CS2 replaced 10 years of organic curation with a broken mess. It killed the entire custom gamemode community (surf, KZ, zombie, etc), which is ironic given CS's origins. Matchmaking is a mess due to rampant cheating, made way worse by the insane idea of resetting all rating and trust factor. Still tons of technical issues, most related to netcode. For the next few months, play something else.
