Though open worlds are usually empty and boring, this one is an open world Dark Souls. No more needs to be said. Also, this world is not only crafted by the great Miyazaki this time, but George R.R. Martin contributed to the lore of this amazing masterpiece.

I thought there was going to be an achievement for finishing the game using skills only, turns out there wasn't -.-

And a thing I think SHOULD be in the game is that when you chage the difficulty after finishing a run, if you have remaining cells from the previous run, you should keep your cells, or AT LEAST have a warning saying that you are going to lose all of your current cells. Heading right to cheat engine to retrieve my cells.

Jesus, this game. I couldn't be more satisfied with another ending for this series. Even though some of the games of the TWD series got bad critiques, I might be a fanboy to some extent, because honestly I like all of them (at least the main line), althoug some of them weren't as great as the first and this one. It was a nice surprise I had at the end of this game and I feel really glad that it didn't leave me with that void in the chest I would've had if it ended in another way. Really love this game. I'm sad it was sitting in mi library for a long time before I finally finished it.
Good bye Telltale, thanks for this series. I love Clem and I'll miss her, the goofball, Kenny, and of course the very first hero, Lee.

No players, in fact, not even servers are available now. Sad to see this game dead because I really liked it back in the day. It was fun while it lasted.
Of course do not buy this game, it is not playable.

Dark Souls: Remastered is a mediocre "remaster" that reintroduces bugs that were already fixed in DS: Prepare to Die Edition. The graphic quality of the game in my opinion is maybe a sidegrade, but not an upgrade, for the original one (at least with mods), with minor improvements to lighting and new little particle effects, but for some reason the game looks flatter, more plastic. There are no improvements to old mechanics and no changes to broken mechanics (like the backstab chain). While a lot of fanboys excuse the thing behind "it is a remaster, not a remake", the developers have given the players the option to have more spirits and phantoms in the master's world, and have given those phantoms and spirits the ability to now heal with Estus Flasks, that are mechanic changes. The framerate of the game has been hugely improved, though, if you don't have the system required to run the game at 60 FPS, good luck playing your game in slow-mo when the framerate drops to 50 FPS and below.
It hurts when your favorite game, that happens to be one of the most important games in the history of videogames, gets a treatment like this. Sad to say, but I can't recommend buying this game.

I haven't played the original one and got the game by recommendation, I'm not disappointed at all. This game is beautifuly done, I'm impressed that the engine used is Unity by the way. The level of detail in the environmet and the layers of deepness give a surrounding ambient. The soundtrack is really impressing too, all the orchestral themes are just too epic. When I saw there was a skill tree I liked it a lot because a few years have past since the last time I played a 2D platformer with that feature. The combat system, at least for me, it was pretty good; maybe at the beginning it's a little too simpleton and repetitive but according you keep upgrading the skills and everything, now you have more ways to attack and it goes together with the movability, then moving around the map is much more fluent. Another great thing to highlight about the game is that its map is an open world. Depending on the type of game I like or dislike the backtracking and in this game I really liked it. With that you can discover a lot of secrets and collectables. If you're not really into completing the game at %100 and discovering everything, there's no problem, the game is pretty short, I finished it at around the 8 hours going at a decent rythm and taking my time to explore. The story is very nice, it's not a great deal with a lot of plots and thing, but it's pretty adorable and dinamically told, it doesn't stop you for a long time, it's told in little segments with just narration. I greatly recommend this game if you like platformers of quality. It's my first time writing a long review but I hope it helps :)
