Definitely recommend this game! I cried. :D

I love Graves - Literally bought the game for him. No joke. Though I didn't expect to actually be hooked on the other characters too! All the characters were surprisingly well written (I kinda already fell in love with Graves to care about them but I ended up not at all getting bored by their routes). I related too much to Avery in Graves' route. Like everything was too me. The narrative was so compelling and personally relatable for me. Ok - I was worried it wouldn't be romantic because of how much I related to it (considering Avery is 19 and Graves is 39 WHICH IS PRETTY GUD FOR ME HAHAHA) but IT WAS WOOO! In the end, It really broke my heart throughtout his route. I feel so empty now though. I needed more. Like just a little to explain what happened after. Like that ending killed me. I wanted to know what happened afterwards... I waited so long to buy the game but the ending... Also, Graves' route certainly made me cry. I wanted to hug him so much throughout his route. Oh boy. I was hooked. I'm in love. I really REALLY miss him. Like my heart ached. Gah! I would most definitely buy a sequel or a second game just for Graves. Whoah!! Graves is 6"2!!? I'm like 5"2.5 - My face would be in his chest, uyuyuy. ALSO! Me and Graves have the same birthday. It killed me in the game.

Okay, I love this game. Honestly.

If you're planning on buying this game, like others have said, it's not quite romantic. It truly does go into dark themes such as: r@pe, abuse and blackmail. That's why I really love this game!! I really enjoyed that it explored such dark themes and found it great coming across a visual novel that presented them so well. But yes, most of the routes aren't romantic at all. So if you're looking for romantic lovey-dovey stuff, this probably isn't the game.

This is my first proper review, by the way! I hope I don't do anything wrong. ^^;;

PROS
- The voice acting is superb!
- The story is written amazingly and is super engaging!
- The main character is very interesting!
- The soundtrack and sounds are brilliant!
- The art is lovely!!
- The sexual scenes... Are very... Sexual ... :D
- The game is dark and messed up (like me)!!
- All routes are extremly different!

CONS
- Personally, I feel there's not enough content and was left at the end really wanting more.


Honestly, I can relate to Alex, our main character. I love the way he thinks and reacts to certain events. A lot of reviewers have said they don't like Alex but I really adore his character and am inspired to make characters as well written as him. His actions make sense and so does his thoughts and ambitions. I find him to be such an appealing character.

A lot of people are upset about Edward not having a route. I don't mind it but it would be nice for a game this expensive to have more routes/endings. I wasn't crazy on Edward but I would not at all mind a route for him. Though, I personally wanted more out of Jeremy's route. I already knew there wasn't going to anything sexual for Jeremy (an awkwardly huge dissapointment for me) but I really did like Alex and him together. Apart from shipping them, his ending seemed like a prequel; Especially after the dialouge they had shared. I could seriously imagine their relationship blossoming and further progress happening between the two. Hehe... It's probably just my fantasies but leave me be. XD

Jeremy and Joshua are my favourites!! >w< I have not fully completed the game yet but I shall definitely soon! I'm sure Joshua has a more compelling route than Jeremy but if Jeremy had more than I would say Jeremy is my favourite without hesitation. Though Joshua truly deserves that spot as favourite. I just at least wished we could've at least hugged Jeremy. He needed it after all the conflict and plus an image of them hugging would have been a keeper. Well, or at least have Alex think of violating Jeremy if just that... T^T I swear it's just me wanting this. XD

Anyway, I have Laurence and Oscar to go for now!!
I'm very excited to see what Alex will do next. XD


Ok, so a lot of people are upset about Edward not having a route and I'm one of them now! Hehe~ After Oscar's route and the special episode, I would adore a route for Edward. Plus, the ending where you did get intimate with him was like whoah! Edward needs a route now!! He's also quite cute when it comes to Alex so I would like to see more of that. X3

Oh and about that special episode!! Boy was that funny! I was laughing so much throughout it, hehe. It was perfect. A bit short but perfect. I do still wish Jeremy had... More to his route... XD

But Overall, I fully enjoyed the game. I wish there was more content in the game, honestly... I've done everything in the game. There are options I haven't tried which I'll go back to at some point but I have unlocked all the CGs and everything else. I do wish there were more images to find (especially for Jeremy) and more routes/endings.

Now that I've finished the game, I really do want more. Though, I really did enjoy the game a lot so I'm glad I was able to play it. I just wish there was more... XD
