Fun game, can set the difficulty of different elements of the game to have a more relaxed or a challenging experience. Great single player value, and progression system. If you are looking for a lite extraction shooter experience that isn't MP, definitely try this game.

The two beta sessions showed promise. But as of October 2025, these are the reasons for a negative review from me:
- Net code is horrible. Some games are fine, other games, you can empty a whole clip on someone next to you, watch the damage/blood on the character model, yet they take 0 damage, turn around and insta kill you in a nano second
- The maps are way too small to be 'Battlefield'. There were words of assurance from Devs during beta that there are larger maps, but we are yet to see them so far. They are way too small for strategical fights (flanking) or vehicle combats. Compared to maps for BFBC2, BF4, these look more like arcade maps, a tad bit larger than COD maps.
- Normal class unlocks are locked behind some ridiculous conditions. Not just grind of actual game play, which is what all other BF class unlocks were based on. Rather, most of the locks encourage selfish solo gameplay instead of team objectives.

It seems like the Devs have forgotten what made Battlfied games, Battlefield, and seems to be heavily influenced by other Multiplayer FPS games, and trying to make this series into Battleroom instead.

Played 7 hours non stop since launch. No crashes. Got the latest Nvidia driver, set my graphics settings to realistic expectations (lower those damn foliage density and cloud settings) DLSS balanced mode on my 3090 and 5900X, I get 55-60 fps at 4k steady. Gameplay is fun.

Trying to get my town addicted to the drugs I sell, I got addicted to this game! So much details as you go deeper into the gameplay and progress!

It has been some time since a good single player game has captured the essence of 'fun gaming'. Great combat, beautiful music and some breathtaking visuals. Game of the year for 2024 with this one.

Destiny 2 is like an abusive toxic relationship, where you keep coming back because the sex is so damn good. :|

Decent looter shooter, when you want to turn off your brain after a busy day at work and kill some hours for entertainment. Performance at 4K has been great (3090). DLSS optimization is great. Combat is fun, and each character plays differently. You can swap characters on the fly (Single Player).

Life is too short to 'wait for a sale', go ahead and play it if you want to, you never know when an asteroid/plan/flood/quake/fire/car is going to take tomorrow away.

Pretty relaxing game minus all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of randoms in dungeon finders, hoping someone debuffs and interrupts mobs, you do that all by yourself. You manage mechanics, agro priorities for attacking the Boss ads. Highly recommend this game for any one who loves MMO healing in games like FFXIV, WOW, TESO.

TL;DR: If you want a fun and relaxing PVE shooter to play solo or with your friends for few hours after work...or want a game to spend zillions of hours in, look no further and play this game.

I haven't played much; but it definitely feels like a decent game. If you are burnt by Destiny and their tactics of removing content you paid for, play this game instead....where you will be bombarded with content and lore that The Speakers and Travelers can only dream of.

Gazillions of frames, main quests, sub quests, different types of weapons with various builds you can customise according to your playstyle. Regular content release, a weekly vendor who is not stuck in a time loop selling content from 3 expansions back.

You can spend money for cosmeFASHIONFRAMES!!!tics, or purchase platinum for QoL boosts in your game play experience to skip some grinding. Or you can choose to not spend a $, but spend the time in farming said stuff, then selling your extra loot for sweet premium currency, which you can spend on things of your choice FASHIONFRAMES!!.

So yeah, good game, free to try out, what do you have to lose apart from some internet bandwidth to download the game and few hours and see if it fits your choice?

Bought it for the game...spent a whole lot of time on the menu screen. It has one of the most beautiful and haunting menu screen music themes. Pretty interesting dungeon crawler and the unique combo system is fun. The TD-ish defense which Deathtrap is based on is fun as well. Its a fun experience solo or MP. Still holds strong in replay value.

For it's current sale price of $2.... I'd buy it just to listen to the theme song!
