This is the highest praise I could give.
This is 100% game of the 2021 year for me.

Lovely and carefully crafted experience from the fellow Dark Souls enjoyers in a format of a top-down action-RPG. Everything has its' place, everything has its' meaning. Animations, movesets and sounds/music are top notch.
Ooh, and the characters are simply amazing.

Everything is somewhat simplistic, yet enjoyable. The bosses are well designed and well paced, they never overstay their welcome.

The only two things I'd mark (and that's not a dealbreaker) is 1). that to collect everything (and the ultimate completionist ending), you'd have to traverse the locations back and forth, which ain't that much of the problem, they're messy, but with lots of shortcuts, and even when lost, you can find the thing you need within a couple of minutes; 2). dropping in the water mechanic is somewhat annoying at times.

To 100% the game it took me 14 hours, and there's one more run, exclusively with an umbrella :D
Worth it full price.
