My original review is at the bottom. I wanted to touch up and add to it after 2.0 and Phantom Liberty.

The TLDR is this:

Cyberpunk is incredible. Phantom Liberty is awesome. I had "1" playthrough prior to Phantom Liberty. I'm on my third one now. If you don't love the game by now then you're most likely a contrarian. It's cool though - I know you'll disagree. lululululul.

-----------------------------------------------------

We're all here because we play on PC, right? Let's toss the click bait articles about previous generation consoles to the side and not even consider it for a moment. I am an oldschool Western RPG junkie from the realm of the Mass Effect Trilogy, Dragon Age (Origins, nnggh), the Witcher series... et cetera. This game, by far, has held my attention for the past sixty plus hours and will continue doing so. It is immersive... the world feels like Cyberpunk (I'm a long time William Gibson - Neuromancer - Sprawl Trilogy nut). The characters feel fleshed out and I'm invested in them. At times, I feel like I'm playing my character in a fully cinematic experience.

The gun play? Great. The weapons feel completely unique. I have personally sided with primarily melee combat (steppin' razor, street cyber ninja) and I have thoroughly enjoyed the sprint, sword to the side, cut-ups and cut-downs, sideways, and all the way arounds as I dice enemies on very hard.

Look, I get it guys. There have been a few minor shortfalls... such as optimization so far and requirements by the system... maybe even a small memory leak (I'm not a techy) that requires me to restart the game once every four hours. I'm telling you that I do not regret the money that I spent. Everything, optimization wise, only gets better from here (CDPR has a track record from W3 on that).

I look VERY forward to any and all content they release for this universe.

(PROTIP: Don't rush the story... enjoy the playground and do the side stuff. Thank me later).
