Even for 4 dollars, I can't bother with this. After dealing with a handful of launching issues, performance issues, editing config files, and unresponsive combat due to always being online, I was already pretty jaded. Then the microtransactions popped up before I even hit level 3 and I'm completely uninterested.
If it ran better, maybe I'd care; I just can't stand how greedy this all feels on top of running poorly.

Artstyle is pretty, character customization is cool, and I'm going to keep trying it, but I've got some serious pet peeves to work through.
--Too many premium currencies, scummy practices
--Auto-battle switch can trivialize game, might be less prevalent in end-game
--Story is uninvolved, decisions don't matter, VA is fine but often not present
--Game is also designed for mobile. Few options, middling performance, horrible constant N/PC pop-in
--Skills/skill tree seem very shallow. I'm spoiled by FFXIV, I know.

No wide-screen support.

I was drawn to Bonelab because it was a sequel to Boneworks and because of mod support. Imagine my disdain as I realized the mod support was actually mod.io instead of just using the Steam Workshop, and the campaign fell flat. It's been an interesting experience, but it just feels unfinished? The unfinished nature feels somewhat intentional due to the story, but between that and the weird glitches I've had while desperately trying to climb anything or even get past level 4 (the minecart goes into the void if you pick up the keycard before Mine Dive. Don't get that card or you'll get softlocked as of patch 4) I just haven't had a good experience. Even once I unlocked the bodylog, which is sick don't get me wrong, it just feels kinda gimmicky and pointless. There's great work here, and I'm grateful for the native shotguns, but I think this needs more work before I can recommend it to anyone short of patient modders.

A few years ago I would have said yes, but this is a very different game than I fell in love with. Switching engines destroyed a lot of the more impressive mods and maps that I actually enjoyed, and it runs terribly compared to what it was. The game has become prettier, but it lost so much in the process.

It also seems that Vankrupt didn't announce the game leaving Early Access?
They did announce microtransactions for in-game skins though, which would be cool if there was any system beyond paying for it.
Overall it just feels like this game went through some development hell and it really suffered for it. I'm glad to hear some people are enjoying it, but I will probably never play this game again.

Right now this game faces performance issues, hacking issues, and does not currently support cloud saves. Despite these debilitating issues, Webfishing grips me in reminding me of chatting in old MMOs. A group of people, all looking to calmly accomplish tasks and grind in good company. Like a peaceful Runescape lobby, or a good group sitting outside of a dungeon late at night. It's genuinely wonderful, I hope the developer finds further success.

Fast-paced but thoughtful, deaths are always my fault but still infuriating because I want to keep climbing. Good GOOD stuff. I wish I bounced off of angled surfaces less when jumping, as that has been the source of about 80% of my deaths, but I should be using those pitons on my corpse instead of jumping anyways.

Simple, but fun. Feels like a polished flash game, beat it in a couple of sittings. I wish it didn't flash white for new runs and had more upgrades, but it was worth a few bucks for sure.

Not sure why you guys replaced Global Offensive entirely.... kind of a weird move.
Rip the achievements. I'll keep em on my Global Showcase as errors; an artifact of times past.

That was a good time, always fun to replay portal. I appreciate the settings being kind of dumbed down on the surface, and then the Debug menu just giving you everything right under it. Good stuff, beautiful work.

People complaining about performance, please change your settings and try again.
Main thing that changed the game for me was turning super resolution to balance. Performance will likely be even better.

2080 TI ran this fine once tweaked.
