Realy nice old school shooter with an awesome soundtrack and enjoyable gunhandling that made slaying through these possessed cultists sooo satisfying!
It had such a nice, dense athmosphere that gave me chills form time to time. You had wide open areas in the forests and small claustrophobic corridors in the facilities. Sometimes they even gave us a little surprising twist in the leveldesign which i dont want to spoil now.
Every now and then a new type of enemy was introduced that required a slightly new strategy of fighting it.
This game shines the most when you walk into a room with a lot of enemies starting to shoot and run at you while the metal soundtrack blasts right into your ear. Jumping pads and movement extras like sliding over the ground gave it a really compelling dynamic. For the little extra badass feeling you even are able to do front and backflips mid air before blasting the hell out of these cultists.

The only thing i didn't like was the front and backflip mechanic. On its own its kinda cool but it gets a little tricky while climbing/swimming up or down, since it then reverses the axis of looking to the left and the right once you get to the 90 degree view angle. But it's by far not a major issue.

TL;DR if you like first person shooters: buy this game!
