Lord of the Flies presents a grim and dark view of human nature. It suggests that beneath the surface of civilization, people have a tendency to be prone to being savage when structure and order collapse. Lord of the Flies follows a group of boys who are stranded on an uninhabited island. At first they attempt to govern themselves but by the end they fall into violence and chaos. While some may argue tboth good and evil within humans. The novel see. It reminds us that the idea that fear, power, and group dynamics can bring out the darkest parts of humans.



The main argument in Lord of the flies is that civilization suppresses humanity’s natural savagery, but when law and order dissolves, chaos and violence rise up.
