For the people who are complaining about the little things in the game like scars and gender and telling you that's why the game sucks...ignore them. The devs made something they were proud of, and it wasn't done with politics in mind. They created a game they wanted to create, and that was a labor of their love, and it shows.
Lets start with the good:
The visuals are breathtaking. The backgrounds and different places you visit are stunning, and even with the slight style change for the characters you can see they put the same amount of care into everything like in the old games when it comes to visuals for environments.
Banter. Now some of the dialogue for some characters is...off to me, and I can't tell if its the voice acting, or if its the writing because its just for the certain characters not for all of them, but besides that the banter is still there and the snark brings me back to the old DA games for sure.
Dark fantasy and Gore. This was something I know a lot of people complained about that the devs were removing and replacing with woke politics, but I can assure you that its abundant in all its squishy gory glory.
Music: Chilling that is all.
The gameplay is great, and the controls run like a dream compared to past DA games. My friend had a little trouble with his ps5 buttons and had to remap them, but I haven't had any trouble at all so I'm thinking its just a playstation issue.
The game flows and flows well with the story. Sure its linear, and many might call that a con, but it works well with telling the story.
Rewarded for breaking things and looking everywhere: I love searching for things in games, and as a zelda fan I'm a fan of breaking ♥♥♥♥ so I enjoy that you can break tons of crap and get stuff for it. Its addicting, and great.

Now the negatives that irked me a little, but didn't really bother me that much.
Skills: The cool down on the skills is a little high, and the amount of mana that each skill needs is a bit much for the low level when it takes a billion years to get your mana back up! I know its not DnD, but it would have been nice for them to put a one mana spell at least for a skill that was more powerful than the quick draws we have as a mage before the two mana skill that you can use once in a blue moon.
Dialogue: Like I said before some dialogue is off to me, and it is only certain characters. Most of the characters, the male Rook voice I chose is amazing imo, are great, but the ones that aren't are just...stiff and feel a bit Disney channel at times would be the best way I guess of describing it? It can't be the writing because not all of the dialogue feels like that its just from certain characters and its not all the time even from said characters.
Character Creator: This one was probably the biggest irk. Yes its a really really good creator, and it was pretty genius of them to have it make a new head mold out of 3 different heads, but the lack of color options was disappointing, and some size options on the sliders I was like "wait what that's it?" I had to scrap two characters because I couldn't make them adequately because of the cc. My friend wanted to give their character a lazy eye, but couldn't because the "close eye" option barely lowered the lid with the slider. The eyecolor option was also a bit convoluted on how you got a coloring scheme, and getting yellow was near impossible! Let alone the skin tones and hair when it came to getting specific shades as well like wanting white hair or super pale skin or super dark skin and pastel colored hair. The creators of the sims cc having worked on this I would have thought this would have been amazing, so it was quite a bit of a letdown that this wasn't better. Is it a terrible cc? No absolutely not I can make many awesome characters in it, but I wish they would have done a bit more with it and hope in the future maybe they will put in a patch that adds stuff, if not then welp you know what I'll do since I got the pc version I'm sure.

Besides those minor issues this game has been a blast to play. I'm super happy its more linear than open world. While i'm a huge fan of open world games it's kind of nice having a linear game where you just go with the flow and enjoy the story while you are along for the ride. All in all I'd give it so far a solid 7/10-8/10
