My game no longer launches after December 1st.
I have Rolled Back my Drivers, Reinstalled the game, Circumvented the REDLauncher, everything.
Worst part was, I literally saved the game right before the final mission and was actually honestly getting excited to wake up and finish the game, as I spent as much time as I could doing every single piece of optional content to get a proper sense of the game (sans the DLC).
There's an irony in this, I'm sure. But for the time being, patch 1.005 has bricked my game entirely.

I went into this game with zero expectations and with the thought that it would be a simple in and out, get the achievement and uninstall. Utterly Unremarkable how I happened across this game which I received from a humble bundle I think? Many years ago.

What I ended up getting was a story that made me cry three times and forced me to reflect on my life as it is versus as I want it to be. Ten Dollars for a good dose of Self Reflection is, in my opinion, plenty worth it. Great Job, to this obvious passion project.

Final Score: 7/10. Buy it on sale, or the newest Far Cry game.
Either way, you'll enjoy an Open World Romp. But don't go in expecting a sequel to Halo 1 2 or 3.

Details o' my Halo Infinite Review:
Should not have been Open World. Everyone says that, so I won't really expand on it.
The story missions were good. Even the Assassination Missions were funny. But the 'story' missions in the open world felt sloggish.
I hated how much the Marines wanted to suck me off. I get it. Master Chief. Woo. But in Silent Cartographer, they were Marines, not Teenagers playing Fortnite.
I liked the codec-style conversations a la MGS5 to explain deeper lore bits. Enjoyable for the longer treks across Zeta.

Enjoyable, Competitive, but few drawbacks make it's gameplay loop difficult to enjoy.

A number of people asked me to get this as I am a pretty long time fan of TW. Rome to Warhammer, Shogun to that godawful MMO-lite that we all pretend didn't happen. I'll say Three Kingdoms stands as easily one of the best Total War games on the market. If you like Romance of the Three Kingdoms or Chinese vibe in general, this is the TW for you. My largest, and honestly only gripe, is the UI. It gets very cluttered very quickly due to how jam-packed the country is with leaders and factions. Being given an update on every action taken by about 100 different tribes makes it nigh impossible to pay attention to the factions I WANT to pay attention to. That, coupled with the strange new menu system, the tightly packed menus, leave me feeling exhausted at the beginning of my turn and the payoff for when I move and combat and manage my cities- the thing I play TW for- feels like a minority of the time I spend playing TW:3K.

FINALLY
AFTER TEN -THOUSAND- YEARS

Watching Mandalore's video convinced me to give this true Space Sim a try, and so I grabbed it when it went on sale. I was excited to use it mainly as a VR wonderland of space exploration.

If this was your thought too, turn away now.

Not only was the initialization of the game a proverbial nightmare to get started- as the game forces you to launch through a launcher that for several hours told me 'You do not own this product' after making me jump through every hoop I could with making an online account and asking for my billing address??- the Native Controls for VR are nigh impossible to actually use, unless you've invested in a proper 80$ flight & yaw stick. You have a better chance playing a fighting game with a mouse than ELITE DANGEROUS with a Mouse & Keyboard. It didn't natively sync with my XB1 controller, but I've seen that might be a personal issue.

In the end, after struggling all night to then suffer through the agonizing controls and finally be allowed to fly around for a few minutes, it was really pretty. It was a joy to the senses. But then I forgot where I had to have my hands on the keyboard and which key changed my thing to do the thing so I could load up the thing so I could hold down the thing to finally go somewhere.

It wasn't worth it for me, and it makes me a bit sad knowing I bet its way better without VR.

As a long time fan of the Ace Combat Series, I'll admit I didn't do much research on this game. I see an Ace Combat, I but an Ace Combat. However, if someone would have told me this was essentially a redux'd Mobile Game, not only would it have explained the Price Tag, it would have explained why I didn't but it.

But we can dream.
