A huge content drop that addresses a bunch of my missing wants from the base game. The new bosses and environments have excellent designs. Enemies are a good challenge, but the game also provides an option to progress your character's strength. It's just a bunch more Elden RIng for anyone who liked Elden Ring.

Spitting my take into the review bomb inferno here: Overwatch 2 is a good game.

I've been playing Overwatch on a consistent basis since the beta for the first one in 2016, simply because it is fun. And while i have plenty of criticisms, the game has steadily been improved by balance changes, hero reworks, shift to 5v5, replacement of a problematic mode, etc., the more time has gone on. Things like marketing the game as OW "2" and its aggressive monetization shift are laughable missteps, no doubt; but it's also a better version of a game that was already good, made free, on more platforms.

Try it out rather than hopping on the bandwagon that it's some irredeemable dead game -- you'll have more fun.

JRPGs rarely pull me in, but all I can say about this one is I put full-time job hours into it these last two weeks. This is a massive game with an engaging story that at its core is simple; follow your heart and enact the change you want to see on the world. I'm glad I played it, and sad to see it end.

Morgana best girl.

One of the top 3 VR shooters, and absolutely gunning for that GOAT slot with recent updates. Better gun handling than Pav, looks great, runs great, networking for player body tracking is excellent. Recent updates have allowed for fantastic community map support, and the game supports PC-Quest crossplay. It could become my #1 VR shooter of all time with some updates expanding what's possible in community content to match Pavlov, but even as the game is today I highly recommend it.

Cards and Tankards is the first card game that really drew me in, having never really clicked with Magic. The card game mechanics are simple and well explained within the game, to allow for an easy learning curve. Cards are gained from daily wins and by spending coins you earn playing the game; either spending the coins on specific daily cards outright, or on booster packs. As a free player, I don't feel limited in my progression or unable to access my optimal cards.

The game runs VERY well, pushing a stable 144fps at ~250ish% resolution scaling on a 2080 ti. Visuals are beautifully stylized, from the card designs to their monster models, and especially the tavern itself. Controller tracking is accurately represented over the network, and the controls are very intuitive. Picking up the monster models to make a play within matches, however, can be buggy and cause the player to frustratingly repeat an action until it registers.

C&T also has a great system built in for public matches, and just social in general. Players can choose between multiple taverns or launch their own when others are busy, and then are free to wander around the tavern visible to other players. Multiple tables are set up, allowing players to do PVP or bot matches at will. If you're not interested in playing with others, the game allows you to mute/block other players (though most are generally polite!).

All in all, good game, well made VR experience, highly recommend.

As someone with no previous interest in the Souls series, this is a really good game.

It's still extraordinarily challenging but every challenge is reasonable to overcome, and there's good options for playing to your individual strengths or cheesing when needed. The open world format also means that if you absolutely can't get past a certain area, there are countless other things to do in the meantime as both you and your character get better.

If you don't care for the series I would still strongly consider trying this game; it is that good. There's a reason half the people on my friends list are putting in part-time job hours.

Edit: This game is massive Jesus Christ

I've played through this game before in VR on another store, then bought it again here just for the achievements. This is my favorite game, period, full stop. It is the only game I've ever played that seeks to make space exploration a mechanic, without pivoting that goal towards space conquest. Try to play this game as blindly as possible if you think it might be for you. It is first person, has incredible physics, and an excellent story. That's honestly all you need to know. If you want to play it in VR like I did, this version will work; look up the mod NomaiVR.

It's Tilt Brush, but a free version in active development. This is a powerful tool disguised as an easy to pick up game. All these years later it's still one of VR's must-have titles, and now it's free.

MOR is not a game; it is however one of the most unique experiences I've had in VR, as an enthusiast since the DK2 days. I think it would be accurate to consider the purchase price of the app to be a lifetime pass to a museum, which is more of a physical place you can visit than it is a title you play through. MOR regularly hosts events in partnership with artists or festivals, and if you are interested in viewing art and experiencing things unique to a digital world, you will always find something engaging and interesting.

Guns feel alright and inventory system ranges between good and slightly frustrating. What brings this game to a higher level is its custom gamemode and map support. Rush maps, survival, and though not really my thing, TTT/role play servers are phenomenal. Every week it seems like there's something new and exciting to discover. The playerbase is also very consistent, if on the younger side (to a fault).

Overall great multiplayer shooter, easy to pick up and lots of fun to come back to constantly.
