Such a wonderful gem of a game. It takes the standard monster tamer genre mechanics of turn-based combat, types, abilities etc, and provides it with a few unique twists. Namely; fusions and type interactions.

It goes far beyond simple 'super effective' that other titles are limited to, instead you can use a Water type to inflict 'burning' on a Leaf/Grass type via boiling it (think water and steam) The fusions in the game are plentiful and are integral to your overall success, especially against the toughest enemies.

Everything is handcrafted with regard to art, OST, etc. Several of the songs in this game now belong on my playlist as they're that good. It's also cheap.

All of this from a tiny indie studio in Brighton, can't complain at all. Except that I simply want more Cassette Beasts in general. Sequel when?
