I finished the game in ~33h.

I liked the story but I feel like the presentation was pretty mediocre, some of the cutscenes were just tedious to watch and I feel like there are some places unresolved. Also some of the characters get their own part of the story but half way through the game they just completely dissapear to focus on the main story of the game which is not bad per se but kinda feels like the motivation for those characters to stay with the party is given for granted.

The combat is pretty good, I like its fluidity and customization and each character feels very different so if you ever get bored you just swap to another one and refresh the feeling of using the same skills all the time. The only thing I don't like is the difficulty and how much of a damage sponge enemies become on harder difficulty, while their AI doesn't change at all. In addition the AI of your companions is so basic they are unable to heal themselves which makes it an extra layer of tediousness trying to keep them alive during boss fights.

The maps feel like they ran out of either budget or interest because at first they feel pretty vibran, uniquely designed with lots to explore and later in the game it's just a copy paste with some blocking puzzles to have you reuse the same zones over and over, lazy development. The variety of monsters is also not that great and they reuse the same 7 bosses throughout the game so in that regard I'd say it was a lil bit mediocre.

The OST was good, it's fully voiced so that's joyful.

Graphics in general are good, in some areas fps drop hard but I haven't had many issues, granted I have a 13600K and 3060TI so take the performance review with a grain of salt.

All in all I give it a 7/10, I enjoyed my time but I didn't enjoy it enough to try to pursue the true ending. If you can get it on a lil bit of discount I'd say its well worth it.
