Kind of like Serious Sam, but you shoot robots here. If you are into old school shooters, this is your game. =) The plot is crap as usual in these kind of games.

Graphics suck donkey balls by todays standars but the golden gameplay makes up for it. Go download some mods so you can better graphics if you can't handle the original ones. Plus you will need a mod to hear the soundtrack, because by default there is none, i don't know if the porting process to Steam ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it up or what.

A blast from the past. You and your big ass arsenal of weapons vs ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of aliens. Then you just kill everyone on sight and do some random stuff to stop the aliens from taking over. That's the plot. And killing everyone is just about the only thing you will be doing. Luckily the shooting is fun because it gives you a lot of different weapons to kill them, from basic pistol and shotgun to a rocket launcher and a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cannonball launcher. Plus the maps are kind of like one big area, so you don't just run in some tight ass corridor 24/7 like in Call of Duty campaigns. Go and try the multiplayer if you want to have some fast paced action. 8/10

Gives you freedom to decide how to get from point A to B and that's always a plus. And you can go out and massacre every S.O.B in sight or take it easy and only eliminate key targets and go undetected like a f'n ghost. Story itself ain't nothing special and those magic powers, dafuq is that? Some random guy just pops up and there you go have some powers. Anyway they are a nice addition to the game. And i didn't really give a ♥♥♥♥ about any of the characters but anyway a great game. Plus the DLC should keep you going, or you can just start the campaign again and perhaps try a different approach than you did last time. 9/10

Was on sale and decided to buy it and see what the hype was about. And it was for a reason. Great story, makes you interested in the characters and actually care and think about what will happen next to them. And a lot does indeed happen. More focused on the human relationship drama than slaughtering zombies. So don't buy it expecting a game where killing zombies is the main point.

Starts to repeat itself pretty quickly but the game is fun so that don't matter too much :)

The gameplay itself gets quite boring, it is always either these two: Run forward, take cover, gun fight, run forward second gunfight, cutscene. Or run forward, start sniping, run forward, cutscene. But i can live with that since the story is quite good =) Depending on your difficultly level, the story might not take too long so try to grab it on a sale if you can, unless you are gonna hop into the multiplayer.

It is pretty easy but still a fun game to waste a couple of hours. And it was cheap as ♥♥♥♥. Multiplayer is dead, which is a shame, would have been fun to try it out. =)
