I loved Hollow Knight, I did everything there was to do in that game. This game? It went above and beyond.

It was worth the hype. Every single second of it.

The combat, the level design, the bosses, the story - especially the endgame. Holy good god that endgame. I'm positive this will be one of the best games of the decade.

And yes, the difficulty is a big step up from Hollow Knight, but aside from some minor nitpicks it's very fair and mirrors the extremely capable moveset Hornet has.

I left Monika on wait for half an hour in act 3 and all the electronics at my house started going haywire.

To this day I consider Titanfall 2 to be my favourite shooter game not just for the ludicrous speed and fluidity of pilot combat and the thrill of hopping on a Titan and melting everything, but partly because it retains a philosophy of making games that the industry hasn't seen in a while.

Purchasing a game and when I hop on it is fully functional, polished, with both equipment and cosmetic customization available to you through playing the game. Even the few microtransactions for the premium skins are fair: you get what you paid for, at a reasonable price (at least reasonable compared to today, perhaps).

My one concern if Titanfall 3 ever releases, aside from having to take even more antipsychotics, is that if it comes out in today's game industry ecossystem there may be a high chance of the game becoming yet another unfinished buggy ass live service game plagued with microtransactions. So for now at least we're left with this gem.

I love this game so much but I had to grind every single character for days no stop to even try to get to what I had back in console version. Like just get rid of this "no cross-progression" thing already, plus the origin requirement, let us enjoy the game cuz this is a bummer for so many ppl. Such a great game but the problems it had and has rn are limiting
