A very nice sequel to the first game. Puzzles here are little bit more challenging. You get fewer clues what to do and every mistake is fatal, so you have to be careful what you are doing. It's short and basically same as the first game, however still enjoyable.

Very good VR experience for puzzle fans and also VR beginners. Puzzles are fun, but not too hard and every mistake can be fatal. It's relatively short, so you can basically finish it in one sitting, but it's worth every penny. It's well optimized and designed to be played in chair, so basically no motion sickness will occur.

Definitely recommending for VR beginners, so you can adapt to VR and don't get sick.

Really good game to just sit back and relax while cleaning some dirt. It also feel quite satisfying when you clean and see the progress. The main campaign takes long to finish and then there are many bonus jobs you can complete.

It can keep you entertained for few tents of hours. Relaxing and satisfying game. Definitely recommending.

After playing God of War (2018) I was really hyped and wanted to play God of War Ragnarök. Now I've got a chance. It's bigger, prettier and better. I enjoyed playing it as much as God of War (2018), dare I say even more.

Characters
Basically every beloved character from previous game returned. Many more characters were introduced. Some more important, some less. I really like introduction of Odin and his family, like Thor and others. Don't want to get into spoilers though. I also like character development of Atreus, who is now older, stronger and figuring out who he is and who he wants to be. He also has much more screen time than before, which is nice, although some may argue that it's not for the best.

Combat
Take combat of God of War (2018) and make it more fluent, add new skills, combos and add new weapon. That's it. Just God of War (2018) combat, but all-way through better.

Story
You are dealing with consequences of your actions in previous game. So the main plot is about fixing it. Of course there are many obstacles, which you must fight through to achieve your goal and fulfill your destiny. It is still focused on fighting, but now story is also more focused on characters themselves, exploring their past and uncovering their secrets.

Valhalla
And now there is also a DLC! Kratos and Mimir will venture to mighty Valhalla after receiving a mysterious letter from unknown someone and your goal is to discover, who that person is. But there's a twist! On that journey Kratos will have to fight a demons from his past. But that's everything I'll say. Valhalla will also test your skills, because it's heavily focused on combat and there will be no mercy.

Overall God of War Ragnarök is a wonderful game and definitely worth playing! I enjoyed every moment. every fight, all of it. I hope Sony will bring original God of War games to PC aswell.

I haven't played any game in the Dragon Age series yet, I just played DA:I for couple hours in the past, but eventually gave up and moved onto something else, until recently. When I saw trailer for Dragon Age: The Veilguard it piqued my interest in the series and so I wanted to give it another shot and decided to start at the very beginning.

Story
Everybody seems to praise the story, like it's the best thing ever. For me it's just GOOD. Nothing groundbreaking, heartbreaking or whatever. Just good. It's definitely not bad, but people on the internet overhyped it for me and in the I was just disappointed. Not sure what to say more, it's better to experience it for yourself, but don't get too hyped or it will lead to disappointment.

Characters / Companions
Companions are very-well written and nice. Some of them are likeable more, some of them less. They keep good company when traveling. Chemistry and interactions between them and player character is fun and it's one of the bright sides of the game. It's also nice, that you can talk to like 90% of NPCs. Sometimes you get one sentence answer, sometimes you can initiative conversation with them.

Quests
There are some good, meanigful quests, also there are some let's say annoying filler fetch quest, which I certainly not enjoy. Throughout the world you can, while exploring, stumble upon boards with contracts or some requests for help. Majority of them are just go there, bring this or kill that or speak to this guy and so on. They put so many of these quests to the game, that later in the game I was overwhelmed with quest and didn't know what to do first and lost track of my progress with those quests. So if you are someone, who likes to explore and try to do every quest you stumble upon, well, good luck with that.

World
While exploring and doing those annoying quests you must travel through the world, right? I'm not saying the world is empty or doesn't feel alive. Some place are beatiful, some are full of people interacting with each other. However, there are also big empty-ish areas for example like woods, or abandonded buildings and these areas are filled with almost endless groups of enemies, which are constantly attacking and it can be very annoying. You can't just explore freely for a bit without worrying that some dumbass group of bandits will attack you for no reason. Maybe I exaggerating but I felt like it.

Combat
When fighting endless groups of enemies you can use weapons and abilities/skills. Well duh. Anyway combat is like this hybrid real time with strategy pause. It's not bad, I feel like it's just not well balanced. Some groups are way too easy to defeat, while other can decimate your squad in a second. This type of combat can be fun and good but in my opinion it was poorly executed. The game is designed to make you use the strategic pause and plan your attacks before hand, but in the end it does not always work 100 %.

Overall the game is not bad. I just have some personal problem with it and very mixed feelings about it. Even though this is mostly negative review I still recommend it to anybody to atleast try it. I don't know if this review even make sense, I just wanted to express my feelings and mention some flaws and not just be like "It's the best RPG ever." like majority of reviews say.

Characters
Main character and main side characters are good and well written. Side NPCs not that much. There are just there. Nothing special, because they just repeat few line over and over again. Also what adds up to an immersion is Japanes voice acting.

Combat
Combat is maybe the best part of the game. It's easy to learn, hard to master, but once you got a hang of it and start using combos, items and strategize during combat it's rewarding, smooth and satisfying.

Story
Story is good, nothing ground-breaking, but good. Even though it's an open-world RPG, it feels kinda linear. The game account possibility that, you can visit an area, before a quest sends you there or if you for example clear an enemy camp before some story or side quest, the game will just spawn a new enemies. It's nothing serious, but it breaks the immersion and freedom of exploring.

World
World is one of the best looking I've seen recently. The enviroment, architecture, just everything. Maybe it's the fact that the story is set in Japan and not in some let's say "generic" fantasy open-world medieval style RPG. Japan has it's own beatiful architecture and nature. Really a spectacle wandering around and just enjoying the view.

Ghost of Tsushima is an excellent and very-well made samurai experience. I really enjoyed it and definitely recommending to anyone who likes open-world RPGs or samrurai / Japan theme games.

There's just one thing I want to mention. Optimalization is good, everything is smooth, no statter and all, but for unknown reason I have encountered an issue which I cannot fix, when after playing for some time (specifically for about 80 minutes) the game started to break. It started with sudden freezes of the game, which escalated to a point when it was no longer playable and I have to quit a game for like 10 minutes and after I could continue, but it appeared again. It also broke the menu and I couldn't save and settings options just disappeared. It was so frustrating, that I quit a game for a month and waited for some updates, but the issue was not fixed. At least for me.

At first I didn't like the game much. It was boring and not interesting for me and after few hours I gave up. Then after some time I came back and gave it another shot. Again I wasn't thrilled to play it, but kept going, because of characters and interesting story and slowly started to like it. It's not like any other action-adventure story based game, which makes it not for everyone. Maybe that was my issue at first, because when I started playing I didn't expect it.

Combat
Combat can be little bit frustrating at first, but once you get a hang of it, it's nice, smooth and fun. The game offers many different weapons and upgrades, so you can play as you like. Definitely one of the better sides of the game.

Characters
Main protagonists 2B and 9S are great, well written characters. They have good chemistry and voice acting is great. Side characters however are not that good. Don't get me wrong voice acting is great across the game, but I find many characters not that interesting or shallow. Maybe it's the fact that many lines are just text and not dubbed.

Story
Story is definitely the best part of the game and it kept me going to finish it. There are many endings, so even after playing it all the way through, there are still some pieces missing and if you want to uncover whole story, you must play it several times. Honestly I don't know how to explain it, because tells you an interesting story full of mysteries, hidden meanings and philosophical questions.

World
World is beautiful, the post-apocalyptic enviroment can really put you in mood and immerse you to the game. However, sometimes it can feel a bit empty, though it's because the story plot. To navigate the world you have a map and it's the worst map I've ever saw. Okay, maybe not the worst, but definitely confusing and very frustrating to use. I really don't like it and I wish it could be better, but it's like that, because the story. What I mean by that is, in the Resistnace camp, there's NPC and you can ask it, why the map looks like the way it is. NPC will tell you, that it is like that, because the orbit scanner is 3D scanning the enviroment and the technology is bad or something like that.

At the end of the day I enjoyed the game and will definitely play it atleast once more. That being said I recommend trying it, but it has it's very own style and is NOT for everybody. Either you'll love it or hate it.

I enjoyed playing this remaster, but there are some things that could be better.

I encountered several performance issues, most notible stuttering during car driving, especially while driving in high speeds. In some locations there were also sudden frame drops like from 60 to 30 without any reasons. Also in one of the lastest chapters there was an issue that characters would say their lines like 2 or 3 times. Nothing game breaking, but it's a remaster, so this shouldn't happen. One more thing is that, if you want to play the original on, you must buy this "Definitive Edition" to get it, which is little bit weird. For example Mafia 1 (Classic) can still be bought seperate.

Graphics, characters, car models and basically everything is in my opinion slightly better, but not that much as I expected.

I don't recommend playing this remaster, it's good, but it has more performance issues than the original. So play original instead, but as I said, if you want original, you must buy this Definitive Edition, so it's worth atleast trying.

REMAKE OF THE GOOD (G)OLD CLASSIC

I haven't played original game much. In fact I haven't even beat it, because it was boring for me. I've really never understood the hype about the original Mafia. Of course, characters and voice acting are superb, story is excellent and all that, but it didn't hit me much as others (which can be more shocking, because I come from Czech republic).

So I recently decided to try all 3 Mafia games. I was wondering if I should play original or remake. Finally decided to play remake. And I really enjoyed it. Maybe remake lacks some story or character features of the original, but overall it's pretty good and it can opening door to Mafia franchise, if somebody like me deciding to try it, but hesitate to try the original.

Gameplay wise, I would say it's somewhat similar to original, but better. Car handling can be sometimes frustrating, although you get used to it. AI on the other hand is bad. Like really bad in my opinion. NPCs can't drive properly or cross a road and police is just insane. Police chasing is difficult as hell, which is maybe intentional, but sometimes if you are trying to hide from them, they can easily find you, even though they shouldn't or atleast shouldn't know where you are. Maybe this all was because I played the game on "Classic" difficulty. Speaking of "Classic" difficulty, if you are insane enough to choose it, prepare to die a LOT of times. Shootouts can be extremely difficult and car chasing with police or gangsters as well.

Overall it's pretty good game and worth playing, although players, who didn't play the original will enjoy it more, than players who did. 8/10

Very fun, visually stunning and relaxing game. I LOVE how the game looks. The visual style is just perfect. Story is little bit goofy, but characters make up for it. Combat is also very fun and fast-paced, but not that difficult, although on higher difficulty, it can be challenging.

I also like how collectibles are done here. They're not just icons to fill the map, but are actually meaningful. You can get interesting bonuses, which can make you at the end of the game unstoppable, you can learn more about places you visit and so on.

Overall it's fun, relaxing game and definitely recommending it. 9/10
