I built a base inside a hangar and locked myself outside of my own base, because I couldn't reach the lock on the gates from outside. Yea and then some people raided that base, but I still couldn't get in. Then I left the city to look for other adventures and went to another big city in hopes to settle in there for a while. I was greeted by 3 guys, who offered to spare my life if I surrender to them. So they hand-cuffed me, stole 70% of my loot, left a can of coke and wished me luck on my journey forward.... oh and I triggered a wild boar, that started to panic, it hit a fence and flew approx 10m above me. so yea, if that is not DayZ in a nutshell, Idk what is.
