This game is full of literal who leaders and literal what wonders. Civ 5 is so much better

It's okay, I can't in good conscience give it a negative review because it's extremely well made and is very polished.

At the same time I found it a far lesser game than Doom 2016, I can't be bothered finishing it and after 16 hours I'm just bored of it now. In the meantime I've probably played through Doom 2016 five or six times.

It's just nowhere near as fun as the first two. The loading times are massive, the CTDs are random and it feels like a chore sometimes to get through turns late-game.

The default campaign is also atrociously bad with a terrible map. I know the Vortex campaign from wh2 had many nay-sayers but I really enjoyed that, it was a small map, the campaign was quick and the loading times were fast because the map wasn't absolutely gigantic. I reckon I will go back to warhammer 2, because it's stable and the gameplay is a lot more streamlined compared to wh3.

The DLC nonsense and crazy prices are also offputting, it hardly seems worth it for the price, especially when the game randomly crashes on me at least once every 90 minutes.

And finally the campaign objectives are quite silly, and there's no story like there was in wh2. If you play for example vampire coast in warhammer 2 vortex, you'll have a story with cutscenes about how you gotta find an ancient wreck, learn 3 verses of an old sea shanty and take control over an ancient serpent that rules the sea. In wh3 your objectives are to (take, sack or raze 158 settlements) wow so much fun huh

I also don't like the cartoony graphics

Most of the people who review this game have 4-5 hours in it total, that should probably tell you all you need to know. For my part within the 30 mins I played it I encountered bugs where I couldn't draw my weapon twice, which lead to me dying.

Refunded

Took me 140 hours to get through all 3 games, doing almost everything along the way and it's still an amazing trilogy. Gave me some real nostalgia about the good old days of gaming. Also I banged every hot chick under my command.

No complaints at all with this remaster. Garrus and Wrex bros-4-life

Really bad DLC, just adds loads of busywork for nothing in return basically. It reminds me of the Endless Space 2 DLCs in that regard.

Also really buggy because I'm not able to clear a lot of rockfalls underground and all my stuff down there just gets stuck

Lame DLC, avoid like the plague

This group of bandits attacked my little fortified town, they ran right into my ambush and got wiped out but this one guy survived. I got my doc to haul him to a cell to treat him, trouble was my doc had food poisoning and puked all over him. Then after he performed surgery he puked all over him again and walked out.

Nobody cleaned that up, so the guy got infected and I was only able to save him at the last minute using some very expensive and rare medicine that I was saving. It took a while for him to heal up but as soon as he was better I had to sedate him and steal one of his lungs to save one of my guys who had developed major asthma.

After the surgery it took a while, but I recruited him and he ended up being one of my best shooters despite his .. oxygen problems. A few months later I was able to make him a cybernetic lung to replace the one I took and he did pretty well in my little colony for a while.

His mom was part of a raiding party, our attack dogs killed her and I made him incinerate her corpse to establish dominance, and he was very upset for a while especially because I made him wear the flak vest she had been wearing, he went nuts and destroyed our telescope but then I gave him a flatscreen TV and a load of drugs and he was right as rain in no time

I would go on to rip his arms off and replace them with bionics, I renamed him Snipey McSniperson and gave him a legendary sniper rifle and he lived happily ever after until he got mauled to death by a giant spider that got into melee range about a year later.

I built a big sarcophagus for him and put a party spot next to it, so whenever we have a party we do it next to his grave, because he was quite a guy
