Real fun story driven shooter, fantastic story, fantastic voice acting and great visuals. Would definitely recommend, only bad thing I have to say is the duel / shootout minigame can be a pain at times. But overall this game is seriously underrated and a real gem

It's like a cross between borderlands and l4d. Ammo is rare so it's more a melee game than a shooter. Good fun.

Really fun ninja platform game. It dragged me in and kept me playing for ages, and it's pretty hard. Would definitely recommend it, very atmospheric.

Awful successor to one of the best games ever made. CoH2 has no soul, would not recommend.

-DLC everywhere, and it's crappy overpriced DLC which are basically AI skirmishes or a mish-mash of the old opposing front armies from Coh1

-The voice acting is terrible, I recognise one of the voice actors from titan quest, in that game he was putting on a Greek accent, in this game he's putting on a Russian accent. He can't do either properly and just sounds like a Mexican putting on funny accents

-The Russians are portrayed a lot worse than they really were in WW2 in my opinion. The campaign just makes it look like they only fought because they had a gun to their heads, and I'm pretty sure commissars didn't go around executing entire platoons of fighting troops on the front for the lulz

-I can't seal off areas with tank traps and sandbags like in Coh1, I know this isn't a huge deal but I prefer to be able to

CoH2 gets a 4/10 from me

After putting in another 30+ hours I'm keeping the negative review, although there is a defence mod now to add tank traps and stuff which is real nice, and I do enjoy playing the British in multiplayer games, both those nice things are offset by the Ardennes Campaign, which is basically a bunch of skirmishes with randomly applied victory conditions. Even on sale at 7 euro I think I overpaid for this crap. It's also hilarious how, after paying for the Ardennes stuff you are immediately prompted to buy a new commander for 5 bux for your new DLC.

2017 Edit:
They've got these guys doing a series of ''community balance review patches'' for the last year and they keep balancing the game around 4v4 moba style matches and they have basically nerfed everything into the ground and sucked as much fun as possible out of online matches. Yeah, you think it can't get any worse then they put the game into the hands of some min-maxing cretins.

2018 Edit:
Another round of nerfs in May, game successfully put on life support. Don't waste your money.

2021 Edit:
The ''community balance team'' continue to butcher the game with the dumbest balance changes imaginable, I can't believe it's even still alive at this point, each patch reduces the fun factor of the game.

Great game, does the original justice. Tons of fun, would recommend. The expansion pack adds some nifty stuff to it too and also worth it.

This game is seriously addictive, it's loads of fun, little spaceship adventure game with randomly generated encounters. Highly recommended been playing it non-stop since I bought it.
