Preface:
I am a casual player, I hang out in vanilla lobbies all the time. This review will be from a casual queuing experience.


I have been playing TF2 for nearly 12 years and to see it in the state it has been in for the last 5 has been absolutely heart breaking. I've had my gripes with the meta of the game getting stale due to no updates. (Kunai ringer abusers, vaccinators, and sniper players (all my own opinion)). I understand no one is working on the game, and that was fine with me. I came to terms that we are not owed anything new. The gameplay would stagnate and I would have to find ways around the

However, the fact that it takes upwards of hours to find a clean lobby free of bots is agonizing to accept. Even with no new content, Team Fortress 2 has provided my with nearly 1/3rd of my hours after the last major update. This game will not die of old age. There is simply too much to this amazing game just as a base. I feel as though TF2 is suffering from a sickness, and it's a sickness that causes the reputation of a once beautifully crafted shooter to become nothing more than another reason for me to punch holes in my dry wall.
