Mostly ♥♥♥♥.

Only thing of any sort of value in here is the 2,000 medals.. but even then, they're still pretty ♥♥♥♥ as most guns are paywalled by lootbox gambling.

This game is quite simply... great! If you are thinking about buying it, then just do it!

ROOST 41-45 was ahead of it's time. It's certainly old, but it's GOLD!

This is no ordinary, overrated yearly Call Of Duty title. It's a WW2 themed milsim with realism as a high priority. You cannot play this like some stupid idiot plays Call Of Duty and expect to have good results. The guns are slow and wieldy, just like they were in WW2. They have recoil and the bullets have real damage to them, just like they do in the real world. One or two bullets is enough to take you out! If you don't follow the proper rules of engagement, expect to be punished by death. This is a game where tactics remains supreme! That means slowing down your movements to think about your actions, rather than brainlessly running out into to open only to then get sniped with one lethal bullet. You must remain aware of your surrounds and utilize cover.

As an extra bonus, it can be played completely offline (even if all the servers shut down and the community disappears) because it has a practice mode with bots (granted they aren't the best bots, they still let you play the game where other modern games would say fnck you, "you must have internet to play!")

Unlike the modern trash that comes out today, there is no
- Engagement Optimized Matchmaking
- Predatory Grinding
- Pay To Win
- Lootboxes
- Gambling
- Rushed development with frequent patches to introduce more "grind" and P2W items (and lots of game-breaking bugs)
- or any other greedy BS

Graphically, this game still looks pretty decent despite being released in 2006. There are still games released today that don't look as good. Also, since it's so old, most people with a PC today (even crappy non-gaming laptops) can play it without hardware performance issues. Actually, I even played this on my old, Late 2008 13" Unibody MacBook with the settings nearly maxed out and it ran pretty smooth.
This brings me to the next point... this game runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac! That's a very nice thing as you don't have to be tied to a specific OS to play this game. Those of us who have multiple PCs/Macs can appreciate this more, as well as those on Linux who would like to use free, open source software that doesn't spy on us and demand payment for hardware and licenses.

With the game being less than $10 on Steam, and a lot cheaper on sites like eneba... there is NO reason to not buy this game!

P.S. It comes with the Darkest Hour mod.
