While it's a disappointment for fans of Insurgency (2014), it's a good replacement for Call of Duty albeit more tactical. And the best part? It is not pay to win, and does not use Engagement Optimized Matchmaking (fake "SBMM" that encourages players to spend money on microtransaction items by rigging matches).

The game is in development, but it's already looking pretty good...

Plenty of cheaters, matchmaking throws you in matches with high level, no-life, toxic veterans... even if you are brand new.

Not optimized well, servers lag, the game doesn't run smooth all the time (it stutters when scoping, etc.).

A future dead game. (Game as a Service = When the game servers shut down, you can't play. It doesn't matter if you buy stuff either. The game requires an active internet connection to active servers in order to play.)

Halo and Portal had 53x and gave birth to this... Splitgate.

The game is cool, but the matchmaking isn't.
It's either you stomp the newbies, or you get stomped by the veterans. Not much in-between.
This game reeks of Engagement Optimized Matchmaking.

If it weren't for the rigged matchmaking, this would of been a good game.

Pay to win garbage, with corrupt and greedy Russian devs who ban people who criticize their game.
The same devs who not only implemented pay to win microtransactions, battle passes, and subscriptions, have also developed the audacity to literally beg you for money via Patreon.

Don't waste your time, do not play this game! Instead get Operation Harsh Doorstop.

New players get ♥♥♥♥ guns with terrible specs... and no attachments (especially scopes, so it will be hard to see that sweaty toxic veteran hiding across the map in a well hidden spot who is about to kill you with one shot despite you having no way to properly counter it because you lack good guns with the right attachments... simply because you are new to the game and haven't bought them or grinded hundreds of hours for them yet).

No pay to win garbage here, unlike most FPS games nowadays.

Cheap, no pay to win, revolutionary mod support. Classic!

Even runs on phones with "Xash3D" and "CS 1.6 Client" apps from Google play.

Mobile port, crashes a lot, also has P2W mechanics in PvP.

Very good game, but extremely short. This game can be completed in about 10 minutes, give or take. It's comparable to The Room, except this game is just much shorter and a little easier.
