Once again an overwhelming positive for a game that I do not enjoy. It is slow paced, the sounds and music are incredibly annoying. The symbols on the map and cards are cryptic and I don't have the desire to figure out what they mean. This is just a big flop. There doesn't seem to be any possible way to restart your game. It just isn't fun. I put in a couple of hours and that is enough for me. I don't get the hype. Such a drag fest.

Once again, I fail to understand what all the hype is about. This is such a dull game. I really just do not understand what the appeal is. Not for me.

Boring, random, annoying... not fun. Played for about 10 minutes and uninstalled.

I really enjoyed XCOM 1. The story was decent, and the difficulty progression was difficult but reasonable. XCOM 2 is just too difficult. It is frustratingly difficult, which makes the game unfun. I am probably just not very good at it, but most of the time I feel it is too difficult it has been due to things being unfair. For example, I was about 45 minutes into a playthrough when I had a mission to rescue some civilians. I think I had to rescue 6 out of 16sh, which meant I could lose about 10 and still complete the mission. The problem started when clear across the map half of the civilians got killed and there was literally zero way to avoid this happening. After pushing forward the number of enemies was simply ridiculous for such an early mission. At the peak I had around 8 mobs including risen npc characters who were reanimated right next to me. They also got a turn to attack before I could do anything to respond. I know this game is popular, but it just wasn't for me. I will return to XCOM 1, because it was a vastly better experience for me.

Boring. This has some amazing reviews, so it should be good. But, it isn't. Bland areas, too much back tracking. Repetitive gameplay, no sense of accomplishment when you progress, confusing areas. This just doesn't have the same sense of discovery of other great metroidvania games like Super Metroid, or Symphony of the Night. I just couldn't care less to even finish this. I would not waste my time with this title.

Reading and clicking simulator. Boring and juvenile. Dialog heavy, decision making poor. Stardew Valleyesque soundtrack. I am bewildered how this has such glowing reviews. A miserable trudge. You literally click for 5 minutes straight, then make a single meaningless decision, then click through another 5 minutes of dialog. Walking simulators are more fun and engaging than this. How is this even a game. The promise of "horror" kept me going for a bit, but in the end it just wasn't worth the time or energy.

Just stick with Borderlands 2. This is a big disappointment. The story is absolute garbage. I am nearing the end of the game but just cannot summon the will to keep playing. Blergh. This game just sucks. It has no soul. They didn't bring back most of the old fan favorites, 90 percent of the game is just "girl power". The dlc are nothing more than virtue signaling sjw nonsense. The playable characters are uninspired and boring with powers that are just not very fun to play with. Sanctuary is weak compared to the living city in BL2. I see no reason to keep with this tripe.

Too much of a balancing act to keep things in check. Trudgingly slow pacing. Makes you want to fudge it by looking up a tutorial. Doesn't seem to matter how delicately you attempt to manage everything, the system sets you up for failure. Not very enjoyable.
