Someone made a side-scrolling platformer for PC that doesn't suck.

No, really. It plays VERY well with a keyboard and mouse. Haven't tried with a controller yet, but I imagine it handles just as well. The responsiveness you need in a platformer is there, the puzzles are interesting enough to make you think, and its not bad looking either.

Graphics warning: Turning on AA will send your framerates into the toilet.

Addictive, fun space ship simulator. Can be frustrating if you take it too seriously. Yes, the occurrences in the game are randomly generated, and sometimes you get screwed. But you're going to want to play it again and again. Very fun.

It can be a little tedious, since you're... checking paperwork at a border checkpoint, but there's a certain something about it that makes you call 'Next!' with anticipation. You never know what the next person in line is going to do, say, want, or be.
