broken game with no redeeming qualities despite how hard people are trying to cope for this buggy pile of crap.

single host that crashes the entire lobby when they leave is so friggin awesome.

dev team spent too much on aesthetics instead of stable netcode and gameplay.

list of some bugs and annoyances I came across:
- zombies spawning 2 inches in front of me
- dying randomly after getting revived (there's no infection mechanic implemented yet)
- zombies laggaporting everywhere
- zombies with too much HP
- melee weapons are ineffective to melee stamina ratio
- random ADS issues with guns
- no private lobbies
- objectives randomly breaking and becoming impossible to complete

Currently, the game is horribly imbalanced with insane difficulty spikes. Going from Stage 1 to 2 has such large difficulty cliff. Stage 2's levels easily snowball against you because the game constantly spawns a stream of medium-cost equivalent units. The pole stages are the most imbalanced with insane red aura elites spawning immediately upon the destruction of the poles that do easily 10x more damage than any other enemy on the field, which nearly insta-kills your high cost units while having an insane amount of HP. These elites are the icing on top of the snowball cake as the elites tank your units and the ever-growing pile of enemies behind them instantly attack, knock back your units, and watch as they helplessly die in one-hit to the elite or the 10 simultaneous attacks from the snowball. The game doesn't generate nearly enough motivation for you spawn more units.

The game doesn't give you nearly enough coins to level-up your units to match up against the enemies in stage 2. The game is obviously telling me that I need to farm levels and the minigame for money, but the minigame is feels very jank and I feel like I shouldn't need to farm previous levels immediately within an hour of starting the video game. The game immediately drops the fun factor after the first stage. Most games introduce and hook players into the game by making the first hours of a game interesting. It makes the game feel like a chore if I need to start farming repetitive content to get stronger within an hour of starting.

There is also the issue of recruiting, which requires that you either first clear levels or you randomly get them from playing the game. Due to the aforementioned difficulty spike, recruiting new units becomes extremely tedious through repetitive play or by struggling against the insanely unbalanced stages. I'm surprised there isn't a system to use coins to buy recruitment tickets to help the player flesh out their parade roster to allow players access to more units.

I wouldn't recommend playing this game until they iron out the balancing and make the first few hours of the game more engaging without having the need for farming previous levels or the single mini-game.

I would really love playing this game in VR, but the sensitivity for grip on Index and the physical hands colliding with everything are my two biggest gripes.

I have tried adjusting the grip sensitivity in steam controls, but tools and parts seem to randomly fall out of my hands in the middle of using them or moving my hands. It feels like the game says to drop the tool immediately if the grip readout is not at 100 and a single millisecond of it dropping below that reading will cause the held object in my hand to drop. This is really prevalent when I go to pull the trigger on the Index Knuckles.

The second issue is the physical hands that are really annoying, they make it hard to pick up tools and parts from the ground as a slight brush of my hands will send them flying. This also makes it a pain to pick up tools like the angle grinder because if it falls on its top, you need to do a weird push and scoop motion to get the game to detect a grab point.

Minor Inconveniences found: It is strange for the graphics preset setting and the actual graphics menu to be in two separate menus. The weird gripping angles for parts, where I go to pick up a part that's facing forward, and then when I pick it up, it snaps to a weird angle that makes it particularly annoying to place onto the tank.

I want to enjoy the game, but these minor issues make it feel disjointed and weird to play on the Index.
