This is a brilliant game. One of the best open ended games I've ever played.

You start chopping wood and mining ore manually, then you automate that. Then you start building elements of your factory, start researching new technologies, by hand. Then you automate it.

The progress in this game is automation - whenever you automate something you used to do by hand you feel a sense of pride and accomplishment that no EA DLC could ever buy.

On top of that, Wube software is so dedicated and pays so much attention to detail you'll be left spoiled, and when you go back to other games you'll definitely miss Factorio.
