played for 5 hours immediately hooked, i dont normally like stories in games but it holds its own and ive been reading and enjoying it a lot,

spend ur money on this instead of stardew. its not scared to throw its punches and the characters are actually likable

i didnt know about the AI use in the game, encouraging players to use it, and in the process of making this game despite being a 10Billion company(unethically sourced stealing from artists of all industries, using their work, in order to replace them never having payed them in the first place). id refund it if i could i had such high hopes for this and wish i researched more before buying and playing this game, sims is no better but i dont like playing that either for the same reasons and more

such a fun game i actually played it for the first time with the card game, my boyfriend rlly wanted it and it was a blast so much so that now i bought it on mobile and for steam

my ADHD loves this game

fun to play for sure, the mechanics make it for me the graphics are nothing special for a game that's $30 dollars, but so far ive really enjoyed playing with my 2 friends i enjoy laying back doing soft exploring and collecting stuff, building and the like while my friends go out looking for progression and battles

Multiplayer doesn't work with one of my friends and honestly after 3 days i feel awful for the guy and i feel so demotivated in trying, i've nearly got a full days worth of hours in trying over and over and over again to play with him and still, he crashes every time.

so we have AFTER WEEKS found out the resolution to our problem, luckily at no cost to us!
but if you experience this issue please stay in line with steams rules and refund it before ur time limit is up. we were so lucky our fix was easy.

my friend was connected to his Ethernet and luckily UN-plugging it was actually our fix, a shock for something that's supposed to give you faster speeds.

the issue we had was his download vs upload speeds. his download speed was fine but it was all he had. his Upload speed was totally tanked

Which for those who may not know "Upload speed affects how quickly your controller input is reflected on the game screen. It's also important for hosting tournaments and sending large files between locations."

So for multiplayer only his computer just could not handle sending all the files back and forth between all of our systems and any other system baulders may route to. and it caused his game to crash and close every single time.

now a P.S. there are still plenty of people who do experience issues that are on baulders gates side, we were lucky to not be apart of that and i hope if you experience issues you find solutions as easy as unplugging a cord, like ours but remember this is a big game and it really might not be that simple.

i remember the first time i played ark on a macbook i got the game as soon as Christmas came the year it came out, it was unplayable for me and i had to wait a whole 6-7 years before i had a job and money made my own computer and it finally could play and on high settings at that i was so excited and then official servers were getting shut down for this game everything uprooted. i was still excited tho, optimistic about it.

i have play what looks like 3 hours, i played for 1 with all settings that make the game look pretty off, all settings on low maybe 1 or 2 on medium, (it looks significantly worse that the OG ark this way btw) and the friends i was going to play with are now experiencing the first initial issue i had back in 2015. it is simply laggy or unplayable for them, and even tho i can get it to run relatively smooth. ALL setting are tanked and it looks like ♥♥♥♥. (btw if u try to change volume settings in character creation, the game stop responding completely and u will need to task manager it, it still has body clipping issues and dragging dinos that died can clip through the world dead and lost for ever, just like before :) not a good look i hope that this will all improve but im not very optimistic anymore.

my first dark souls game and its literally ruining my life, other games are boring and i desire nothing more than to play elden ring
