This game is really in a sad place. On the one hand you have a decent story, nice set of characters, overall enjoyable mechanics and SW fanservice, while on the other hand there is still horrible performance, bugs, glitches, memory leak and all those things. You can really try to like it, yet you simply can't because even after 2 years since release, the game is still a mess without any hope to be fixed.
Is it possible to play and complete it? Yes, sure. Will you have lots of issues while doing so? Absolutely.
Purchase only during the sale and make sure you know how to solve basically anything related to performance beforehand.

It's a fun little game all about killing zombies and managing your community/base. Not much of a story to see here, just survive, complete personal goals to achieve victory and move to another map, can be played infinitely if you want. Definitely a must for all fans of zombie survival games. Those who aren't really into such stuff, you still can beat one campaign and enjoy the game for what it is. There are minor bugs and annoying mechanics, but nothing game breaking.

One of the best coop experiences available right now, especially with friends.
Fun, challenging game filled with different in-game situations which includes being bombarded to death by your teammates, squashed by both enemies and friends as well, missing the extraction ship because you got stuck on a corpse etc.
And do not forget that we fight for Liberty and all things mentioned above do not matter as long as you do your part.

The game is very underrated. Even it's not flawless and still suffers from minor bugs and glitches, it is a fun experience and you should give it a try.
When compared to the original LotF game from 2014, this one is miles and miles ahead of it. And while it's not nearly as polished as Fromsoftware titles like Elden Ring or any Dark Souls, it is still a decent addition to so-called Souls-like genre.

A wonderful game. Really, really great experience. Currently, it's probably the closest thing we got to Fromsoft games. And that's an achievement on its own.
Besides, it has great optimisation, no stuttering, no frame drops, no crashes. It simply works.
Add to that challenging gameplay and boss fights, great soundtrack (especially the recordings you can play in hub), interestingly enough story, nice characters and overall good combat.
It's a must buy for all fans of Dark Souls or pretty much any game made by Fromsoft. If you are one of them, just purchase it already. It is worth it 100%.

I'd love to give this game a positive review but that's not going to happen. Mostly because the developer has no will to learn and make the game better.
I've waited long enough hoping things could change but unfortunately there is no point in waiting anymore.
Long story short: the game is still a mess. Crashes still happen, server disconnects are frequent, especially after patches, content is beeing spoon fed even though lots of things have been datamined and exist within game files, the balance is a mess as Fatshark has very little idea how to do that and clearly does not play the game at all.
Do not even expect this game to become decent or even good because 4 months weren't enough to turn the situation around. Clearly, the idea is still here but execution is not.
Buy at your own risk.

Unfortunately, this game supposed to be "a souls-like" experience but developers had very little idea what makes Souls games fun and enjoyable. So we got Mortal Shell instead.

Why haven't you started bringing justice upon unholy rat men and other chaos worshippers in the name of Sigmar yet? Do not hesitate, Sigmar wills it!

Well, where should I start with this one.... first of all if you purchased Sometimes Always Monsters I'd highly recommend to start with the original game (Always Sometimes Monsters) and play this one immidiately after that. You'll see the obvious difference and how the original game is better at almost everything. Sure you can play SAM as a standalone thing but I'm pretty sure it's heavy implied you need to transfer your ASM save file to continue the story.
Now back to SAM. I have to admit the story in this game had the potential to be interesting and decent but gameplay is so dull and boring. It's basically the simulator of walking around and sometimes something happens. But most of the time you just move to another location full of same things.
And it also seems like the writers had only a basic idea how the story should begin and what sort of plot twist should be there but everything else wasn't important. I mean during the whole tour almost nothing happens, no interesting characters appear besides the ones you meet at the beginning, you don't need to make any important decision until the very end of the game. Nothing matters. And that's the biggest disappointment because original game had so much stuff in it. Sad to see how this one turned out to be.
I tried to like this game but I can't.
