alchemy simulator 2025 is lit!

I just time traveled 7 hours into the future.

pretty dang fun.

little buggy in some spots, but damn if this isn't a piece of art. i can't believe I slept on this for so many years just because I thought no combat = boring. Also discovering I could customize the bike was lit.

excellent controller support, looks beautiful, and is alotta fun. i'll be here for awhile i think.

im not a fan of platformers typically, but this is super fun.

Pretty addicting. The story seems well written and the combat at first seemed dull but is actually pretty damn strategic. The only con is I feel like every damn mission is timed. I have no clue how long it takes for missions to time out however so w/e?
Overall I'm digging it!

So, just to get the bad out of the way:
Yes, the writing is trash. It has no nuance, personality, really nothing that makes me feel the weight of the plot. I feel like I would have loved it back in my Magic Treehouse days. If you're looking for good story and dynamic relationships, then this aint the one for you.

The good:
I had a blast with character creation. So many options, so many factions, and I love the separate themes for each faction. I also was digging the customization option for the inquisitor stuff. The menu seems a lot more streamlined and very dumbed down. I am appreciative of this. With the bad storyline and the lack of in depth "death by powerpoint" menu options, I can really just have a few beers and shut my mind off to enjoy some mindless fantasy action. It also helps that the game is pretty.

I know this game has been torn to pieces by a lot of non-sponsored reviewers. But it's scratching an itch for me. It's definitely not the same Dragon Age we've all known, and honestly except for hearing relevant in game lore I forget it's even part of the series. I say give it a shot, get through the tutorial at least. You can always refund if it's not for you.

damn good story, damn good fun.
