Free makes it a great 1 hour to 1½ hour. If it had cost money, it would be way too short.

Addictive and fun!

Playing the game at the moment, and I absolutely love it. A lot of passion clearly went into this, and the story is just really well made and captivating. The feelings it evokes is a bit like if you could turn the tv series Stranger Things into an adventure game.

So far seems like a great game.

I love the voices and audio and scenes.
- I do still have a preference for the pixel art of the other games (especially Unavowed), but it's great in it's own right.

Update: Finished the game. Awesome game. Wadjet does it again. If you like the older games you will also like this one.

One hour in and this feels totally like the brain remembers Command and Conquer or Red Alert through rose tinted glasses.

Amazing game to play co-op!

Tried the game.
Found out it didn't have "Invert Y axis" which I need to play any FPS.
Saw someone had already posted about it on the forum and dev acknowledged
Was added next day.

That's a hole in one!

Bland is the best word for the game. It's what I would have expected from a indie studio, that got a cash infusion for graphics, releasing their first game.

My only hope is that Civ 5 was bland on launch too and after years turned into something amazing.

Honestly I'm sad now that I purchased the game through a third party site and not Steam, because otherwise I'd have refunded and bought it again when they've fixed all the issues.

Surprisingly good first impression.

Am I sad that it’s not like Dragon Age: Origins? Yes.
Is it nice to be back in the Dragon Age world? Hell yes.
So far everything is pretty much on rails. I can live with that if it keeps up this amazing scenery and story.

I’ll modify the review if the game takes a turn for the worse, but so far I can’t wait to play more.

I had avoided Rogue Trader for a while. Sure it looked interesting, but so did Owlcat's other RPGs, and I didn't quite manage to get into those. I was also turned away by the fact that it didn't have full voice acting, which can sometimes be dull.

Boy am I glad I picked the game up. The atmosphere is great. The levelling up part is good (although sometimes it's a bit confusing which skill to pick, since there's an overload of options). I love the different areas which all convey great stories and atmospheres.

Sorry, can't write more, I must kill more heretics. For the Emperor!
