Beans!

This game is literally a mix of WaW COD Zombies and L4D. If you love(d) either of those games, this is super fun. No friendly fire, easy to learn. Honestly mad I didn't try this one sooner.

Comparison to Hades I

~ Same beautifully detailed art, sound effects, soundtrack, and voice acting. It's still ea so some character art is not fully finished yet FYI.
~ Same basic mechanics but a special move has replaced cast and cast became like a witchy inscription on the ground that can do a myriad of things (such as aoe damage or pulling enemies in) depending on your boons.
~ All three moves (attack, special, and cast) have omega versions as well when holding the key down so you really have like six methods of doing damage, on top of the dash and sprint mechanics (sprint is amazing!).
~ Collecting bones is easier so far than the gems, meaning attaining nectar for gifting has been faster in my experience.
~ Familiars are a fun addition for your journeys.
~ Collecting resources for crafting in the cauldron or trading has added a level of engagement for me too.

BEWARE !

The story is not fully finished, so let's just say if you end up beating a very difficult boss you may be disappointed for now that you're immediately killed and returned back to the Crossroads. Don't say I didn't warn you lol.

TL/DR ---- SUCH a vast improvement from the first game. I went back and played the original recently and let me tell you, as much as it holds up, this is so much more fun to play.

Updated to say this has officially beat out Stardew Valley for my most-played game on pc. Much deserved spot.

I haet this game

Very cute but might injure eyeballs from over-saturated color scheme and general movement of character
