Juegazo en toda regla, pocos juegos de la franquicia han capturado la esencia de Alien como lo hizo este juego!

Damn, this game gives me chills. A masterpiece of the horror genre. The graphics are excellent and the performance too; I wish other games would learn from it. It's hard to digest!

I don't know if I should recommend it or not. I have conflicting feelings.

The length of the content is goo. I hate to pay for games that you can finish in 6-8 h. This is definitely not one of them (if you don't ignore the dialog sections). The map areas are large and rich ... but you can still move quickly between them.

Characters aren't bad with exception of Trash, is such a vomiting character, not because of her/his/their nature, but because the dialog and story looks so forced... feels like they are trying to educate us. I would have preferred a character that is 'gender divergent' from the beginning.

The other 3 big issues are:
- Do not play without limiting your system to 60 fps as its engine struggles a lot and puts your CPU and GPU to 100%.
- Crazy amount of time lost on loading screens, I am sure I have spent more than 6 h in black loading screens.
- Graphical bugs, they game is a joke in some areas like Treviso and Old Town with buildings, textures, floors disappearing. I am struggling to accept a AAA game like this one going out with these amount of bugs.

I feel like this game could have been a 9.5/10 easy, but I am finding difficult to justify an score higher than 6/10.

El juego parece más una extensión del primero que una verdadera secuela, ya que presenta gráficos impresionantes, pero carece de la profundidad y la innovación que caracterizaban a su predecesor. La duración del juego es bastante corta, lo que limita la experiencia general y no logra generar el mismo impacto psicológico o emocional que el primer título.

Lamentablemente, lo único que realmente destaco de esta entrega es su espectacularidad visual; sin embargo, en términos de jugabilidad y narrativa, se siente bastante flojo en comparación con el original.

Además, para poder disfrutar plenamente de los gráficos, es necesario descargar un mod que corrige numerosos problemas que vienen mal configurados por defecto. Esto puede resultar frustrante para los jugadores que esperan una experiencia pulida desde el inicio. En resumen, aunque el juego tiene un atractivo visual innegable, no logra alcanzar las expectativas que dejó su predecesor.

quick return not paying for such a bad experience

The game is not bad on its own the problem is the absolute ♥♥♥♥ servers from EA. In 20 years as a gamer this is the only game that has made me go nuts with its online experience. Every time I decided to uninstall the game has been due to the terrible experience and I can tell you it has not changed. I changed connection, computer everything during this two years but the experience is the say EASHIT

Probably better to wait a few months, at this stage this is a beta game. Very poor performance optimisations and multiple visual bugs... to much hype and pressure to release the game. Asked for a refund in Steam and will be monitoring if anything changes in the next months

Great remake, less puzzles and more fun than RE2

Gears of War always delivering great games full of action and epic moments.

Nice game, good graphics, good performance, cooperative. Times fly while you play it! But I would probably only buy it when under £29 as I assume it won't have a massive community
