Early Access Review
You know how they call EVE Online a spreadsheet simulator? This is truly a spreadsheet simulator, and it does it very, very well. If you enjoy the industry side of games like Factorio and EVE this may be for you. It's truly a business simulation, simplified enough that you can probably figure out the basics on your own, but complicated enough for an MBA to feel challenged.

The game is a sim, so it is slow. Your decisions will take days to weeks to start getting realized. This means you absolutely should take the time to run a thorough analysis before making decisions, since a mistake can take a long time to sort out and can be quite expensive to remediate. There is so much data and opportunities for analysis, however, that you can easily fill the time between events on crunching numbers and developing future strategies.

The community is small but very nice. There are plenty of cool tools out there people have developed to help speed up the number crunching if you're not a fan of making your own calculators.

The free version of the game is very generous and gives you plenty of runway to start growing. Your ability to interact via contracts is also limited, but it seems like a necessary feature in order to prevent people from abusing free accounts... It does hard cap you growth-wise, but it'd probably take weeks if not months to start hitting meaningful growth caps. In that time, you should know whether you want to commit to the subscription, which really isn't a whole lot. If you're gonna balk at $8 / month and you're able to play this game I'd recommend focusing on finding a job willing to pay you for the analytical skills you clearly possess...
