This game got a grip on me that is hard to come by nowadays. Definitely a good mix of My Sims with Animal Crossing (without the annoying parts of it). I love how easy it is to get around town, you have multiple vehicles to choose from from the start, each having their own features, and how can build anywhere regardless of where you are. The in-game days last a very good amount of time imo. Art is cute, progress is steady, music slaps. Lots of quality of life features.

There is one thing that I do not like and I think could be very easily fixed though. At some point the Boss Man requires you to build a cow coop, it comes with a cow. I don't consume any animal products and I don't like participating in such things, so personally this felt like a whiplash in a game that is all about making your own town in exactly the way you want it to be. In most games that are about violence it doesn't matter, but in a game that is about living the way you want to it matters a lot. Anyway, so I was just ignoring all these dairy and fishing mechanics, then something in the text made me curious and I installed a dairy machine thing and oh my god the happiness I felt when I saw you could make milk out of beans! That was so cool, I really wish the game did more to tell you that is an option. Then I tried to make some cheese or butter and it wouldn't let me, you need to use cow milk for that for some reason. That was quite sad and disappointing. But I'm hopeful this will get addressed soon since it seems like such an easy fix and the devs do seem to care since they added soy milk already.

Overall, I'm loving this game and I'm really excited to see future updates.

The most wholesome creature collector game I've seen while also having great humour and fun characters - there's so much more to this game than creature collecting. I love that it can be easily and comfortably played with one hand, the online features, that the vibe of the beasties don't affect stats, and that it's overall a well polished relaxing game (even in early access!). I really wish I could play this on my phone.
Also the music slaps.

If we were to treat animals irl the way beasties are treated in this game the world would be a much better place :)

Good game. Played it many years ago but I remember I loved the combo system and had a lot of fun with the combat game-play. The story is entertaining and it's sad, but also realistic in a similar way that 1964 is. I see it has 80% discount right now, totally worth getting. I think it's an underrated game.

So many people comparing it to Overcooked but it also reminds me a bit to Diner Dash. This is its own thing though, other than sharing themes and cooking tasks it is very different since this is not linear but rogue-like; there's not much of "permanent upgrades" but more like unlocking new options/upgrades that you can choose from before starting your restaurant.
Love it as a 2-player co-op :)

This is a master piece, a poem of a game. But you must go in blind, don't watch game play videos or spoil yourself on the narrative.
Inscryption is a 'card game' with exploration and puzzles set in a horror (not scary) / creepy pasta escape room kind of vibe. The game evolves as you progress and it keeps throwing you curve balls and plot twists that keeps it fresh and wanting to know what happens next.
You can keep play sessions short as the card matches are not long, but all my play sessions ended up being longer than 2 hours each time somehow. It's also easy to play with one hand if you must and there's no time pressure for anything.

I had zero interest in this game but my gf kept insisting I should give it a try, I'm glad she did because now when people ask me which is my favourite game I'll have a specific answer for them. Easy GOTY for me. 10/10

It's a really chill and relaxing game with just about the right amount of challenge.

There's some things that really need some fixing though:
- There's no way to rebind controls.
- The game could very easily be playable with just a touch screen but it doesn't recognize touch input at all.
- Would be cool to be able to save past games even after losing, just a way to keep them even if it's just one active game at a time.

But for it being an early access game made by students it's honestly awesome, great game. Looking forward to the updates! :)

Took me 16 hours to get my first evolution.
Have been playing this co-op full-time and it's great. They fixed so many things that are wrong with Pokemon and adding on their own flavour to the game too. It's a bit pricey but personally I think it's worth it - knowing that it'll get even better since it's just v. 0.6 right now, devs seem cool and trustworthy.

Something that I really like about it being an MMO is just seeing players around even if I never interact with them, it gives a bit more of life to the world. The evolutions come in really slow but I think it's something they'll be fixing later (it's still Early Access as I type this) and the rest of the game progress feels at a good pace.

Some of the things I think they do better than Pokemon: being able to play it co-op from the start, customization, gender, writing is silly in a fun way, you can choose dialogue options, Tems use stamina instead of PP, attack priority, side quests, seeing other real people around showing you what's to come just by existing (mechanics, character customization options, undiscovered tems...), it feels like a well balanced challenge you cannot just blindly breeze through, and you can see the actual stats (IVs and EVs) but you don't have to care about them if you wanna play more casually.
I cannot think of anything that Pokemon does better than Temtem.

It's a cool fun game, I'm 16 hours in making good progress and I still have so much left to discover. Totally recommend :)

Also, I see a lot of people complain about player customization being "obsenely expensive" and... it's not really. It might seem that way the first time you approach them but for being a MMO game and Early Access it's alright, you can buy a couple pieces by the time you get to the third island with zero grinding. There's one thing I would change though and that is that you cannot buy/get the clothing options that you have when making your character, I would put those up for sale at half the price of the rest of the clothing.

Had been playing it off Family Share, finally bought it for myself. Super cool game!

It's like sci-fi apocalyptic Sims with less micromanaging.

One of those games that you might see it and be like ehhhh, it doesn't look that great and then you play it and it shuts your mouth because it's so much better than what you expect from watching the videos or screenshots. The best part is that it lets you play it in whatever way you prefer, super customizable experience, even more with mods. Casual and hardcore players both can enjoy this game in many different ways.

The music and sound are great. At first I thought the art looked a bit weird/off but after playing I came to realize it's made with functionality as top priority and it also grew on me.

I might not have many hours in this game but I've played mostly in my partners' laptop and also the other Kingdom games.

Great game to play solo or co-op (online or shared screen). You can play it with one hand and it's really chill, which is why I totally recommend it for disabled people, people that don't play many games, or depressed people with not a lot of energy but bored, or anyone really.

It's mostly about casual strategy so you don't have to use your brain too much if you don't want to but you still get rewarded for your good decisions. You also guide your own progress, if you don't do anything to progress the game won't push you (it'll try to steer you towards the next steps though), but if you try to advance too fast without properly planning then you'll probably have to start again (with new knowledge).
