Risk of Rain 2 is a game I was anticipating for a while after actually getting into the original Risk of Rain. The original progression of RoR and how much fun it was to play with friends stuck with me after hundreds of playthroughs, whether it be solo or with friends, no artifacts or all of them. I am proud to say that Risk of Rain 2 took the gameplay that I loved so dearly, and enhanced it tenfold. Playing this game with friends, dying to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and laughing about it in the end is just one of the many things this game does right, which is form hilarious memories. Ones where you'll scroll through old chat logs, remember what happened entirely, and laugh; just like you did when it originally happened.

What a fantastic game, and a true successor to the original. 10/10
