+ Has rollback netcode
+ Has many characters and every character has an EX-version of themselves that play differently.
+ Has many modes
+ One of the greatest features in a FG I've ever laid my eyes upon and its genuinely beautiful; Replay time feature
+ Fleshed out practise mode features, impressive feat at the time and still is impressive now.
-+ Complex
+ Amazing soundtracks
+ Amazing character designs
+ Story mode has alternate endings and secrets achieved with interesting but difficult methods, this speaks to me on a level that screams "I love this franchise and I will pour every bit of my soul and passion into it to create the most interesting, complex, fun and engaging experience for not only online players but offline players too." Something that to this day, many FG devs fail to do. This is extremely impressive.
- Tutorial acts like you know things about this game and as a beginner player, you wouldn't know anything unless you learnt from a friend.
- Huge character imbalance
- M.O.M is just a mode that has some type of currency to it but it holds no weight. What's the point of money if you can't buy anything? Seems heavily flawed to me.

I've played the Guilty Gear Franchise ever since I was a little boy and I've loved the journey so much so there is a definitely huge bias here so I try to be objective as possible but I find it genuinely difficult to find faults with the game, even the huge character imbalance is what makes it charming in a sense.

It has undertook a lot, a lot of trial and error when you consider the predecessors that came before + R to reach its current state.

I will give this game a 8/10.
It hits all the right notes but its only major problem is helping new players.
Other then that, for me its a masterpiece of a game and I'll always cherish this bad boy in my steam library.

An amazing game that sets an example for future generations of hack & slash titles.
Having three characters that have their own unique play-style enables diversity among player playstyles.
Like hanging back and keeping your distance? V plays a zoning play-style suited for you.
Like being really aggressive and straight up blowing your opponents? Nero suits that aggression.
Like having huge diversity of tools to really show off how stylish you are? Dante's the one in name.
+ Updated Nero's & Dante's moves from the previous entries and fixed how you are able to change guns and weapons in order of how you want it.
+ Amazing boss fights with absolutely no gimmicks.
+ Lots of content
+ Amazing OST
+ Dynamic Music and selectable music in the gallery
+ Buyable taunts and unique taunts that enable special effects
+ Bloody Palace training mode
+ Void training mode
+ Parrying projectiles or attacks by making a risk
+ Added Japanese dub to the game
+ Beginner friendly
+ Relatively high skill cap
+ Co-Op
+ Addition of air-taunts
- Co-Op only during story and not Bloody Palace
- Dialogue can be terrible at times
- Many parts of the story tend to not make any sense
- Not being able to control your health amounts as a way of challenging yourself but also having it be in the style factor when missions are completed
- A wasted chance to have a gamemode where you must play with other people and the enemy's health is tripled and if one dies, you all lose. Every teammate matters.
- Buyable skins that affect gameplay
- Nero having many arms that have to be brought and do affect gameplay
- Existence of microtransactions for in-game currency

I rate this game a 9/10.
Absolutely amazing but I'd give it a 10 if it cleared all faults I had with the game.
This is just a fun game to have whenever and when you feel like it.

A game that is very faulty and lacking in many areas. Still rocks despite how bad it can be, high skill cap with Dante, a lower skill cap with Nero enabling player agency.
+ Advanced mechanics
+ Amazing OST
+ Credo having an amazing boss fight
+ Visually pleasing areas
+ Difficulty Progressing Bloody Palace
+ Style Switching (Dante)
+ Rewards Player for experimenting bosses with the buster arm (Nero)
+ Amazing Cutscenes
- Plot at times makes little sense
- Dice game's existence
- Platforming
- Having two currencies when you need one
- Parasite enemies
- Darkslayer lacking moves
- Repeat of missions back-to-front as Dante
- Lack of weapons that Dante was able to choose from compared to DMC3

I rate this game a 8/10 because it suits players like me who love the competitive aspect of the game and the difficulty.
This game's replay-ability sits on your feelings as a player: If you are casual, I don't suggest this game as much due how you'd play once and not play again and if you're competitive looking for a challenge, I highly suggest this game.

This game is great for new players starting in by having simple inputs.
This game also has a high skill cap as well complimenting both sides.
Let's talk about what's great and what's wack.
+ An amazing game that got refined so much in terms of its gameplay that it managed to balance a 3v3 game extremely well.
+ cool mechanics, intros, outros, destructive finish and even the addition of dramatic finishes.
+ Loads of characters to test
+ Raid mode
- Lobby system is abysmal
- No main menu
- Combos in the training mode are genuinely abysmal and useless
- The story is painful in every regard and it is so repetitive that they had to add a shop that enables you to get skills from the story mode without playing it
- Devs don't discuss with the community what the issues are or barely even remote about it
- No rollback netcode
- Arcade mode is just terrible and doesn't teach you anything about the game

This game is heavily about the gameplay itself, as a casual audience if you aren't getting into the game to learn to be very good, it gets repetitive quick and especially as the game doesn't teach you anything, its still beginner friendly but just not intuitive.

You'd have to go online to learn but this game still has a lot of content to go through.
With foresight, not making this game with rollback was a huge mistake.

I suggest this game if you don't mind doing your research for your homework and if you want to get into Fighting Games in preparation for harder games like Guilty Gear Strive.

I rate 4/10.
I understand that "Gameplay is king" but that isn't any reason to make everything else genuinely abysmal.
The gameplay also worsens when its online due to having bad netcode.

One could argue offline and online are two different games of itself.

I think the game is unique and special that it makes it entirely different from the rest. Though different isn't special but what you get from it is. and if that is different from the norm experience Then I feel there is something to gain. Not only that its got loads of replay to it. you could replay it if you lets say haven't played it in a month and still be fun. The music is really good and original with loads of different mixes. the game has a lot of content to explore including steam modding That is allowed.
The Game is really flexible and has so many different parts. My favourite for me was the transition into the horror aspect of the game which was really cool and made me feel more incline to play More then before. The deathwish DLC too is definitely worth it for a small amount that its worth, Thats if you like challenge. The premise of the hats you use in the game is also something i definitely love. having more options to do different things and think for yourself about those things too. I like it a lot, and the wait it takes you to get some hats makes you feel its worth the weight. This game I'd say is really amazing, it can get better. its a 9/10. What i thought was bad of it though would have to be the lack of badges and The need to get money in the game. after while it becomes useless and Not needed, Unless you're spending it on Peace on deathwishes. Except saying there is more room for space. I feel that the problem was with the game only that it lacked more needs for money and badges. But I still feel that it will always be as good as it is. I Hope i did well stating the negative and the positives. I hope this Proves useful To some of you guys out there.
